KAT keycaps tend to make most switches sound very similar, it's much easier to tell the difference with Cherry profile keycaps. The vega also makes most switches sound good so it's not the greatest for reviews. Beautiful board though, I have one coming, and this build sounds so good!

How thick the springs are we talking about for a mod? What spring specifically did you use to mod the Anubis?

Getting the anubis switch is probably the best switch purchase I've made next to U4Ts It sounds like a dream on mr suit with pom.

The sound is so nice stock they are deep which is what I need, but you said stock of these switches are inconsistent, so should I buy them? I just want stock xD

So I actually bought these switches for my hotswappable wormier k-66 and they sound really good the spacebar sounds almost clicky.

I really consider buying these switches, but regarding night time usage could someone answer if rgb light could shine through the south of the switches just a lil bit? Or they are completely opaque and do not let any light to get through? If so, is it better to get clear top u4t's that allow rgb to shine through? On the other hand, I'm getting black on white KAT alphas keycaps, so they probably will be bright enough in the night time. Guys, please advise something coz i'm stuck and can't make a decision 😀

Does this switch cause interference on north facing keyboards?

Please use cherry profiles for reviews. The keycaps profiles especially kat/mt3/Sa changes the sound more then the switches itself its kinda hard to give it a fair comparison.

They are very thocky and all, however 10 quid for 10 switches? That is honestly mad if im going to be honest with you. That is supposed to be a budget set of switches but i mean, people's budgets are different

Hi, has anyone compare this Anubis against the tecsee coffee chip ice cream? IMO CCIC is thockier than u4t and despite having similar tactility feels smoother, so it's currently my favorite switch. However I have not tried the Anubis, so hoping someone who has experienced both can tell me if it's worth it if I already have the u4t and the CCIC. Thank you.

I don't understand why switch sound is always the most-discussed aspect of a switch. I would rank other features much more importantly such as (1) feel and feedback when typing, (2) effect on typing speed, (3) effect on typing accuracy, and (4) effort to type on. Nobody is discussing depth of stroke which is EXTREMELEY important in a switch and affects all 4 of these aspects. I will absolutely not purchase a switch with a 4mm stroke. it is a non-starter because it is difficult to type fast with such a deep stroke. Your finger has to travel too far down, then up and over the adjacent keys without catching an edge. But with a shorter stroke, you can clear adjacent keys easier and you're wasting less time in key travel. I find that 3.0 to3.2mm switches really help with typing speed and comfort. Give it a try and discover a whole new way of evaluating switches.
