The series "The Three-Body Problem" has become the highest-grossing science popular series of recent times. It's popular, no doubt, but what about its scientific accuracy? Let's delve into this question in today's video!

The Tencent version although long 30 episodes and slow start was way way better. Lower budget but characters are more likable compared to Netflix version where characters were very political and not too concerned about the human race. Peacock has an English dub version, in the US anyways.

Took me until the VR was introduced to get hooked so stick it out by that point I was very into show.
There is a 26-episode anniversary Cut of the Chinese series, that is said to have better pace than the original 30-episodes one. I have not watched the original to compare, but I watched the 26-episode one and I liked it. I tried to watch the netflix series also, but it is much worse and quite disappointing for the reasons you said (they omitted most of the cool stuff that made the series interesting to me).

So your 3 body problem is actually a 4 body problem, and it's inevitable the planet, in a 4 body system, wil either get thrown out of the system or take a Newtonian dive into one of the stars.

The number of bodies in the problem usualy means a number of gravitating bodies, while planet's gravity is negligibly small. I don't think that throwing planet out will be really possible in such a system, but a star dive is really very probable

@@TerraPhysica So when she talks about the Earth and the Sun, and she calls it a two-body problem, she actually means a one-body problem? Do think about what you're about to say.
