@@mamaluigi0631 Died in the mainstream 2004 like every other genre of music has done!! It never died out at all, but still been out there all this time and still are alive in 2018 til the end of time.

@@mamaluigi0631 True at some degree. Most modern "mainstream" music sounds like garbage today, but there are tons of high quality trance post 2004 you have missed out on then. You have to listen to 100s of songs to find a gem, its always been like that. Back in the day tons of trance tracks were also generic/bad sounding, you just forget those tracks and remember the classics.
