I agree 100 % . Were all different people. God didn’t make us all the same. When are all the words to do with discrimination end. It makes me sad when people use words that make a reference to discrimination. Like those people, them and so on. I can’t be the only person in this world to have learned from my family to treat all people the same. My mother had to deal with discrimination growing up. So I knew about it. My grandma also. My grandma wasn’t able to go into a bar and have a drink on her wedding day. I just feel like come on people let’s all end this . As for hair , mine sucks .

That’s because it behind closed doors , especially on breaks, lunch and management office. Worked there for 37yrs 3mos, for the government before retiring. Heard it from another retired nosy employee who set close to management office and lunch/break room 😆 😆 😆

While I’m not working yet its definitely an issue in schools. In my former Catholic school’s rules, you couldn’t wear your hair down shorter than your neck. However deeply textured hair does not naturally do that so if you had your natural hair out you’d get in trouble.

I have always always adored y'all's hair from natural to all the ways it can be styled. Every single time i see it I'm in awe because god..it's an art. I don't get why hair has anything to do with being professional but since it apparently does, how is this not the most professional? The time, effort, money and heart that goes into it should be astonishingly professional.

If it wasn't for WW complaining, it wouldn't be a problem. I don't believe (straight) white men care that much. Men don't typically focus on things like hair, makeup, and nails. That's a woman thing. Let's not forget, historically, it was WW complaining about BW natural hair that forced us to have to cover our hair or wear weaves in the first place. This is a strategy WW and some WOC use to compete with BW. By saying our hairstyles are too distracting or unprofessional.

Had a mgr who told me I couldn't wear my hair blonde. She said I had to be born with it and or it had to be done by hairstylist. Lol, I was licensed and never said a word. I am a pretty woman and stand out no matter what my hair look like. That rule didn't apply to Hispanics and whites or even her whose hair was blonde streaked and she looked like her cat was playing in her hair daily.😂😂😂😂😂

Just cut out the tied part for each bubble with a scissors and you can actually reuse the hair. 😊

I live in China and it’s nice to see how Chinese are genuinely intrigued by my and my daughter’s hair. Her hair is typically in braids and beads and mine is different every week. Many have mentioned, they wish they could do their hair like that. I wonder if the people that are so offended by our hair secretly wish their hair had the same capability as ours.
