Adam is an example of someone coming in to something with complete respect and understanding of that thing, how it works and why people love it. There is a reason that huge queen fans have been turning out in droves to watch the tours over the last few years

I think Freddie would approve. It’s actually pretty cool to have watched Adam performing Queen songs when he was on American Idol and end up actually touring with them for years.

I watched Adam perform on American idol and he was absolutely fantastic, much better than the winner that season, BTW whatever happened to Chris? Adam did comment that Queen was his favorite band and then, Boom, his dream comes true, he's the new lead singer of Queen! I can't imagine anyone else standing in Freddie's shoes, but Adam! I believe Freddie would've approved hole heartedly!

He's been touring with Queen as the lead for years, and they're amazing together! Watched them live about 6-7 years ago and it was electrifying. You should check out their performance this year for the Queen's jubilee - outstanding

Dude had some enormous shoes to fill but I think he did more with it than the dude from Bad Company did, no disrespect to his work. Lambert has serious presence.

"We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" were released together, as one single, way back in the way-back machine in 1977. So, while they're 2 different songs, they're also the same single.

Yeah it's sort of like how "Brain Damage" and "Eclipse" by Pink Floyd are two separate songs but come as a package deal on the radio. They just flow together.

Brian May wrote We Will Rock You and Freddie Mercury wrote We Are the Champions, as audience- participation songs. Queen has often ended their concerts with these two songs followed by God Save the Queen…..And 45 years later they are two of the most recognized Queen songs of all time, being played at all kinds of sporting events around the world. This performance with Adam Lambert was the opening of the Oscars in 2019 and was absolutely amazing.

'Who Wants to Live Forever' live @ the isle of wight is an absolute must for some peak vocals and beautiful emotional engagement!! From Adam's pre American idol days his cover of Crazy at Upright Cabaret blew me away when I first discovered it 15 years ago on youtube lol, its probably still up!

Adam proves his talent with every single album and performance. A tribute to his perfection, his live solo and Queen performances typically are better than studio album versions. Live performances really showcase his voice, emotion, personality, and showmanship. And seeing him perform is a treat to the eyes, too. 😊

Adam Lambert is most certainly, somehow....Freddy Mercury's love child. Or SHOULD have been. He was cloned from a little piece of his mustache, and lab grown. Adam is the only one with feet big enough for Freddy's shoes.

You need to hear "Who Wants to Live Forever" Isle of Wight, Adam Lambert and Queen. Or for something different, check out Adam Lambert and Queen "Somebody to Love" in 2012 in Kiev, Ukraine. Very good vocal work from Adam on this one.

This was for the Academy Awards the year that the movie Bohemian Rhapsody won for best picture and Rami Malek won best actor for portraying Freddie Mercury. So that's the audience. I've seen them live, and nobody sits down for a Queen + Adam Lambert concert.

We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions we're originally released together as 1 long story/song in the late 70s. And Netflix has a whole story about how Adam became the new lead. Very much worth checking out.

I love Adam Lambert, I love Queen, I loved Freddie. But as much as I love Adam and Queen, I have this sensation of watching a cover band. Even though the original guys are still truly brilliant, it’s just not really Queen to me without Freddie. Of course that means it died for me when Freddie died. Which makes me sadder. I enjoyed it for what it was. Editing to give an example. I loved Van Halen when David Lee Roth was there. I liked Van Halen with Sammy. But Van Halen died when Eddie died. Many have a different opinion, and that’s art.

Sorry.. but this just made me laugh. Another song from Queen.. Yes, yes it is. As others have mentioned.. We will Rock You and We are the Champions are (and were by Freddie) always sung together!! This performance was from the Oscars in 2018 when they opened!! Thanks for your great reaction.
