Reguarding room temp. If it is a crappy heat system if there is a passive fan in bathrm that will just suck heat right out of the rm. Most hotels seem to have passive fans thay run when bayhrm lights are on. So keeping lights off sometimes can really help. Shutting the heavier drapes at the window may also help if drafts are contributing to cold. Hope this helps. There is a hotel I stay at when I visit my brother here in canada that is a nightmare to get temp regulated. It was actually one of the hotel staff that told me about bathrm fan and boy does it help :)
