2 жыл бұрынIn a top 20 matchup the Clemson Tigers traveled to Athens to take on the Bulldogs. Running back Todd Gurley led the way for the Bulldog's offense. Following an early touchdown Gurley would have a 100 yard kick return to tie the game up at the half. He had a strong second half and ended the game with 15 carries for 198 yards and three touchdowns. Overall he finished with 298 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-21 win.

@@hunter_light_18ncs maybe not. But he was balling when he was in, and Georgia couldn’t stop him. Stout was a huge liability and only started because he was the senior and Dabo felt like he deserved it because of that. Either way, it was a mistake that could’ve changed the outcome of the game

I'm a pats fan, not a big fan of Sony. But gurly and cubbs are elite. If not for knee issues gurly was going to be a HOF. Easily best back when he was healthy. Chubb is special as well.

You got to remember this was the beginning of the Watson era. Cole would look like a world beater one game and turn into 'Three-and-out-Stout' the next game. There are only so many Watsons and Trevors in the history of college football. Clemson just happened to have them both.

Thats how you get a running back room like that. True evaluation of the player regardless of rankings. There is way too much emphasis being put on rankings that sometimes coaches stop doing there homework and look for the intangibles.
