I have nothing against Rose Leslie, but Rachel McAdams was such a perfect casting for me that it's hard for me to get into this. I love The Time Traveler's Wife, though, and I'm happy it's getting another version.

when i read the book i literally cried for hours then opened to the beginning and read it again. it wrecked my heart for quite a few days. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams were very close to how i'd imagined Henry and Claire.. i do love Rose Leslie though it'll be hard to watch this again.

This was a brilliant book, brilliant cast Rachel Mc Adams, and my absolute favorite Eric Bana. All the characters were brilliant. I hope Audrey Niffeneggar has her hands in it.. I like love Theo James work but man. This is my fav movie/book. Im excited for it🤞🏾

This was a book first. For most of us who loved the book the movie left out quite a bit and for me fell a bit flat. This looks like it has more of the details that were left out of the movie. I am excited for this! And for those who loved the movie give the book a try!

I remember leaving the cinema with my sister saying, in time someone else can adapt it again in the future, and I am so here for it. Literally rewatched the movie, either just before this was announced as I had reread the book, or just after it was announced and yup, initial review of the movie stands. It's woeful. But really looking forward to this as Stephen Moffat literally wrote my favourite Dr Who episode of the concept of this book.

This is how I felt when I saw the movie. The book has so many things in it that really drive home the chaotic experience he went through, and I never felt that the movie captured that. This looks like it gets it right and I’m super excited!

I think this could work very well as a limited series. I realise that there are potentially many stories based on the main characters life, but like so many shows with high concept stories the probability of it becoming drawn out, convoluted or frankly boring exist. I am excited to watch this, because the leads are talented, but I'm crossing my fingers for a quick, but planned ending.

its a great idea having mutable versions of him interacting at the same time, there is a lot of room to use that as a concept

seeing him as a kid kid could be a good example of the pre destination paradox, in terms of how he learnt his survival skills maybe he literally taught himself you could have some real fun with that one

But at what point cause the paradox of unsticking him in time? The answer fixes the moving but can cause another paradox. It would drive a normal person mad.

I read the book, and enjoyed the 1st episode. Steven Moffat adapting it into a series and giving us more (the movie due time limitations cut a lot of the story), David Nutter directing it, great performances from Rose Leslie and Theo James, I'll watch the next episodes

It's a remake we didn't need nor want... Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana did very very very well it is hard to imagine anyone else can top the acting chops of those two thespians and the storytelling of that movie was just perfect.

I read the book and saw the movie. I definitely think this works best as a limited series bc if you’ve read the book their story is written and finished from the start. I’m very intrigued

I agree, I'm excited for this. But as someone with a disability, I found it offensive when Henry said that his power was like a disability that it was something wrong with him. There is nothing wrong with having a disability.
