Keen analysis. I really hope you're as correct about the future of silver as you are about everything else. There are three things brick and mortar stores need to do that they won't do: (1) keep the restrooms clean (if you look at the history of retail, the department store was born in the Victorian era after some bright person realized women will shop longer if there's a ladies' cloak room available to them for 'refreshment'); (2) hire some actual sales people who know the stock (if we want to go to Walmart and find it ourselves we will go to Walmart and not to Macy's); and (3) get some INVENTORY into the stores--it gets very tiresome to be told "we don't have that in stock but we can order it for you." Well DUH. I can order it online, not have to deal with crowds and parking and have hot coffee while I shop. The Harvard Business School peeps advocated "inventory reduction" as a means of "cost control." It provides cost control all right but it means Macy's doesn't have the purse I want but Amazon does.
