Netherton, South Staffordshire, 1911. It was here that the chains - and the largest anchor in the world at that time - were made for the biggest ship in the world - TITANIC. Rare archive footage and photographs show how it was done - with informative commentary. It took 20 horses to haul the great anchor through the streets on its dray to Dudley railway station to load onto a special train. In 2011 a new anchor was built to the original plans - and that was towed through the streets by 20 horses for the Centenary. Watch video of this thrilling event - and count those horses!
