People that continue to make these jokes will have their posts deleted and will be blocked from commenting on our videos. Thanks for your assistance in this matter; the joke was funny for a short time, but it's time to put it to rest.
Join Ven as we count down some of the best builds and coolest sets that came out of BIONICLE's multiple combo models.
As with all Top 10 lists, this is very subjective and should not be considered absolute by any means. However, we at TTV all agree that the list is fairly strong.
But that's our thoughts, do you have a different list in mind? Post your top 10 sets list in the comments below! Feel free to give us any suggestions for more top 10 lists in the future.

They're the orange "hand" pieces right above the mouth. It took me a while to find them too XD

Actually I found them a while ago. They're really hard to see, but they're the 1x1 round studs placed on the ball IN the hand pieces. From the camera angle you can't see the right one but you can see the left one on the other side.

The "Makuta Nui" combiner model appeared in the Maze of Shadows videogame. It was labeled as a "Graalok Ash Bear" for some reason. Some fans even thought the combiner was an Ash Bear.

Maybe it's like a backpack-stool so he can always sit down and insult people but when he's at home it combines into the middle of the throne so he doesn't have to take it off.

Voporak is by far the best combiner in my opinion, a beautiful and sturdy build.

My personal favorite combiner set is Takutanuva. The additions to Teridax's form from the Takanuva set make him look like a gigachad version of a Makuta when you compare it to the regular Makuta sets. To me, the Makuta and Takanuva sets merge really well in this combiner, both in form and function. The set has decent stability and looks pretty cool as well IMO. (Not to mention, as a bonus, it's another combiner set with some lore and story relevance, even appearing/featuring in the Mask of Light movie).

Guys, banning commenters for harmless jokes are not conducive to a happy and interactive audience. I don't even know what these 'Solek/Matoran' jokes are, but if they are not somehow legitimately hateful or harmful in some way, I would offer that you are probably just hurting yourself by banning these people. Those commenters you ban are participants you lose, potentially forever, and they may not even _want_ to come back if you gave them the chance, because banning is such a distasteful needless overreaction. Memes are okay. It will die out when it dies out. It doesn't have to be funny to everyone. I doubt it was flooding out any comment threads of people who wanted a serious conversation.

I'll re-emphasize the caveat that if they are really actually forreal harmful then this is a fair response, and I'll concede my comment's validity hinges on that particular point which I do not have the time to look into right now.

+Andrew Brown The spam clutters up the comments, to the point where you can't find a lot of good discussion without it being interrupted by a Solek joke. I've been in numerous comment threads that have been derailed because someone will use "Solek" as interchangeably as "your mom" in response. And additionally, if the only contribution these people are able to give are just repeating this "meme", then I'm fine with not having them contribute. I have no problem with cutting them off, because they're not helping me or themselves out by trying to overdo something like that.

+Andrew Brown You're not looking at this from our perspective. You're not aware of the jokes themselves, so you don't really know how big of an effect they've actually had, and that's perfectly fine. You need to try and understand, though, that we're trying to build and cultivate a community where people can have fun and crack jokes, sure, but can also have the ability to engage in topical discussions with people. Posting a Breaking News video about important BIONICLE news and having the comments immediately swarmed with dozens of spam posts creates an atmosphere that isn't pleasant for us to read and isn't pleasant for our viewers to be in. We've gotten messages from many people who informed us that they had stopped participating in the comments section because anything they said would get buried underneath all the spam. It was absolutely ridiculous. We let the joke go on for four months because, like you said, memes die out eventually. However, eventually we all determined that since we personally didn't find it funny, it was ruining the integrity of our community, AND it was actively driving people away from engaging in the comments... what purpose did we really have in letting them stay?

The Kardas Dragon is my all time favorite combo model, and he has been reigned supreme as king of my figure shelf for about 5 years now

I am sort of surprised that some of the original combo models from the rahi in 2001 weren't on this list. Sure, a lot of them were pretty gappy but still the Kahu bird and the Kuma-Nui were pretty cool! The Rahkshi Kaita were always interesting to me too, although they did look kinda weird. And on the topic of 2003 Takutanuva was actually one of my favorite combos since it pretty much took Makuta and made him even better, especially incorporating the big bulky toa body in the build.

Ultimate Dume was 2004. Although out of the smaller sets, actually I liked the combo of three of the matoran that made this little scorpion (really can't remember the names right now). The Toa Metru combiners were just odd, especially the Nuju/Nokama/Whenua combiner that used the axes for the mouth.

***** Oh no, it wasn't because of that. It was really a joke, but for some reason it became this spamming tool used by fans on the comment section all over TTV's videos. Eventually other fans used sets similar to Solek to "counter Solek's influence". The spamming got to the point the channel needed to react.

my favorite bionicle combo modal would be the toa kaita i knew that everyone hates the toa kaita but i like them they were awesome back then at least they did not have left over torso pieces and they work really well

My favourite combiner was definitely that spider creature made from Bahrag Queen's. I also like the Lava Hawk and Voporak.

Got a bit of an error at the end; you've accidentally written "Bionicle disappointments" instead of "Bionicle combos". Then again most combos are disappointments... Also it's funny how a video of the best combos comes out the same day as we got a video telling us why clashing colours are bad.

as someone being a Bionicle fan since I was 5, I actually didn't know the kardas dragon was a thing until now. however I do remember building something a few years ago that resembled the kardas dragon (the fenrakk head and all) and it stood at about 1.5 ft tall and was one of my biggest Bionicle creations

I remember an ice spider combo model made of 2 or 3 of the Toa Hordika that was pretty cool. The 1st gen cow and spider models are neat too, there's a bunch of good small creature combo models

The Ultimate Dume was the only Bioncle set i completed. still have it to this day.

I would've thrown Voporak somewhere on the list. I remember fusing Sidorak, Roodaka and Keetongu together into that monstrosity was so much fun. The design surprised me positively, especially by how complex the legs were and additionally by how they had a pre-piston leg support incorporated. It was a bit of a shame the designer ran out of parts after designing such smooth legs. The upper torso and arms don't really continue the aesthetic.

I would ad 01 takua as an honourable mention. Yeah there never really were official instructions for him, but you litterary just take jala's body, the blue nui jaga's mask, and maybye onepu's disk, and you have the almighty man himself.

I think my fave was Takutanuva, the only set where the classic Toa body is so fully imbedded in other parts that you don't even notice it's there without careful examination.

For G2 fans: I really recommend building the kopaka Uniter and gali Uniter combo model. It's by far my favorite of them (except makuta of course)

I don't completely agree with how high Ultimate Dume was on the list, but I can't argue at all with the Kardas Dragon being number 1. That thing is awesome.

I’d consider the Kardas Dragon a set of its own.people don’t call Irnakk a combo when he’s just The tracer,the Drifter,and the beast amalgamated into the embodiment of Skaktii fear,but the Coherent final boss(es) of 2006 is considered just a combo

Jovan is the same than Nuparu. I think a cool combo is the Lava Hawk, made of Velika, Piruk, and Balta. It's look great with few pieces.

I'm pretty sure the largest official combo is the shape-shifter bitch from the third Metru-Nui book. She combines all six Toa Metru.
