I learned a few things about a few of my models from this video - I didn't know about the luggage in the F50 and the rear wing on the Mercedes SLS.

I don't thing the plate in the clk gtr is supposed to be detachable... what most companies will do is drill a hole in the casting and the piece will have one or a few pins that get melted from the inside ...those melt spots do pop off sometimes which allows you to take the piece off even if it's not supposed to

Sir I am pleased to know as well as see that there are other diecast collectors who are just as skilled in this art. I have various pieces, lean more towards 1:18 Cadillacs. But I have many of the ones shown. Some do not realize how much knowledge, time, effort, and let's not forget finance to pursue this hobby. Thanks for letting me see their are other kindred spirits such as myself out there.

Maisto makes cheap models, some don’t hold high expectations when deciding to collect. If you step up to Exoto or AutoArt you’ll probably wet yourself.

you need to buy a fill light as well as stage lights. they can be about $20 total or so. the lighting here is absolutely awful. the entire front of the car is dark.
