Another thing about the healing pad is that it doesn't require any tiered crafting ingredients, meaning that in ventures, a maxed out healing pad js available from the start (even if the level gets limited when placed)

BOOO Anti-Air Tickle Trap😂 Tbf I think using it as you showcased with the combination of sniper Defenders (to focus on airbourne flinger husks) they can be pretty useful! and it seems a lot of people use tham for Anti-Propane! and nooo soundwall in the TOP 10!? blasphemy😂!

I don't even remember to put anti air in my roofs anymore, my anti air are always on the ground for propanes, lobber bomb and they do better job there.

You are correct about the Anti Airs shooting propane tanks. Great to place a few in front of a tunnel along with some Sound Walls to mitigate propane related damage to the tunnels Also, I thought Tar Pits durability only got used if a player shot the tar and triggered it?

would double damage & double reload speed be efficient enough? ( I run that on all my damage traps) cuz I don't have alot of re-perk rn & I'm focusing on maxing out my ceiling electric field & some weapons. Only differences i would make to this personally would've been switching the positions of the drop trap and ceiling electric field, and putting the sound wall in #10, otherwise i quite literally agree with the entire list 👌

@@TheDownables WHAT? wall spikes are not bad at least for start to mid game end game obviously not the greatest and its never meant for trap tunnels but it is good for defense there's no waiting time for it to be used again so if the husk don't die the 1st time they hit it then they will die the next whereas with wall dynamo or broadside if it doesn't kill them then the husk gets like 1-2 free hits in while those traps reload

Issue with the tire trap is I'd never pick it over the electric trap unless it was on a slope or hill. I haven't tried it with with 3 tile height, nor have I seen it done that high even in Twine Peaks. I just don't have anything to put on those extra sets of expensive walls, would need floor launchers to even proc traps on the second set of walls, third set ain't getting used, maybe tall enemies can trigger the third set but idk if you can even launch them. Cannonballs would be awesome if that worked.

Okay I have a question! When you say knocks back in the opposite direction you're facing. Do you mean the direction your player character is facing. Or the direction you were facing when you placed down the trap?

Do utility traps like the anti air trap or just traps that stall enemies of knock them back need to be a high level? Im pretty scarce on evolution materials and want to prioritize it on damage based traps as well as other heroes and schematics.

Correct me if im wrong but in pyramid bases i always place ceiling tire drop traps as first 10 of them 9 around 1 in center then another layer ceiling electric fields but ppl use all tire or electric fields in that build type wheels bounce on slops electric fields don't that's confusing me who is doing it wrong me or them?

can someone explain wall spikes to me? i know they reflect damage when being attacked but why do people place it inwards in retrieve the data missions? as in, they place the wallspikes on the inner wall facing the balloon than outward facing the husks?

I will always be grateful to the one guy who just gave me his whole inventory because he was a douchebag on VC all the time and paranoid he was going to get banned, still have like 15 full stacks of each material. I say that to preface that I can actually make more than 7 of these traps per game without fleeing the objective to go and farm in a cave somewhere.

@@cenjay3794 I am 99,99% sure it was 5 tiles like 2 years ago...maybe they changed it but I will test it myself now. Cause it would be good to know. They still do fly through stairs, cones and edited walls tho, right? And do all darts fly through edited walls or still only like 3? Its weird that they dont fully say how each trap works on the schematics...like tire traps 3 tiles high, wooden floor spikes slowing 15% down, zappers 2 tiles high to only hit big enemies and the gas trap still shows affliction...and anti air and walldarts shooting range in tiles. The community made so many sheets for everything, they just could add this stuff to the game or at least refer to it somehow.

This really isnt a top 10 as there are a bunch of tie breaks so it isnt really a top 10 list i could understand tie breaks if there were 2 traps that were basically identical but all the traps in this game are completely different and have completely different use cases and aren't even remotely similar or identical so I really don't get the tie breaks like how is the tar pit on the same spot as the floor freeze? The floor freeze is far better generally the only use case the tar pit has is at the back of the defense to stop smashers which is a very important use case and it is a top tier trap but the floor freeze is in a League of its own as it has dozens of use cases and circumstances it would be the best in it infinitely stalls out propane husks meaning they cant blow up and propanes husks alone are almost as big of a threat as smashers and stalls out all types of husky husks infinitely plus is still very helpful against smashers while also making a huge majority of normal husks irrelevant as if any husk gets frozen there not making it off that floor freeze alive the floor freeze is insanely helpful no matter where you place it the tar pits only good at the back of a tunnel/defense also tar pits are basically irrelevant if you have a base Kyle and have a decent team as all you need even solo with a base Kyle is 4 floor freeze or 4 floor launchers and a couple of wall darts and your chilling smashers arent a problem with the chad base Kyle if you know what your doing while normal husks you still need traps for unless you have a bunch of rocket spammers or something like that also you can basically afk a mission with a few floor freeze a few wall darts and a few anti airs and base Kyle you cant do that with the tar pit but either way W video also overall pretty good rankings imo
