I'm wearing the Reverso Duoface...and the Reverso Duoface is my pick! It's classy, but it can pull off casual with a calfskin strap (and as you mentioned, the strap is amazing quality). The white dial is for dress/work, but the black dial is relaxed and for the night...it's great from the office, to dinner with the wife, to a weekend outing, to horseplay with the kids (get it?...horseplay...like polo...well, I'll see myself out...).

I’m currently wearing the Tudor GMT on bracelet. You get a true GMT complication, a beautiful brushed bracelet with side polishing and a 70 hour power reserve for under $5000. It’s one of the best values in watch making. From your list, I would pick the Zenith Chronomaster. The panda dial is amazing and their history of making movements for Rolex trumps the similarities. I love it!

Got a 126660 Deepsea Sea-dweller with D-blue dial (James Cameron) on my wrist right now and can’t think of a better reason I’m wearing it other than that I got it just last year and have been wearing it 24/7 since. I use the timing bezel every day and often admire the distortion in the 5.5mm thick domed crystal. As for this year, I am looking forward to the just-announced SLGA009, the white birch with 5-day power reserve spring drive movement (the same one in the SLGA007).

I’m wearing a Rolex OP41mm in bright blue. This is my new daily because of how beautiful and simple the design is, but also because the new movement is robust enough to deal with daily wear. The new spring drive version is nice too, but the depth of the dial on that new highbeat model is just stunning. I am wearing my awesome Seiko Sarb017 Alpinist on a honey nato. It was the first significant watch I bought in my journey down the rabbit hole of watch enthusiasm and I still love it. I would pick the Breitling. I am a fan of the modern Breitling reinterpretation of classics and I love a salmon dial and moonphase complication.

Two I added to the collection that were on the list - 1) Zenith Chronomaster Sport Panda dial and 2) Breitling B25 Dataora salmon dial - so very happy with both of those watches. My favorite though, at the upper end of that price range, was the Parmigiani Toric Heritage in stainless steel with that amazing blue dial. Great list and love the new magazine. Onwards to 2022!

I am currently wearing a Tudor Blackbay 58 with the vintage Black dial. I bought this watch in Nov 2021 because I wanted to commemorate this year where I took a risk of starting my own business during the Covid pandemic and thankfully seeing in pay off. Also I was looking for a watch below 5k as it is all I could afford for now. This watch will always remind me of what a year 2021 has been. For a watch between the 10-20k range, if I could afford it I would get the JLC Ultra Thin Moon SS Blue Dial. This collection just oozes elegance, the symmetry and simplicity of the dial is just timeless. The movement sexy. And I would be brimming over with a sense of achievement knowing that I own a piece by the watchmaker's watchmaker.

My pick for the $10-20k range is the Zenith Chronomaster Sport b/c of the crazy cool 36000 movement and 1/10th of a second party trick! I am wearing Serica 4512 WMB, my first and only mechanical watch. It is already expensive for me as a student, bought it using my hard earned money. I cannot imagine I can get my hands on these watches yet, but it is so hard to choose even if I have the money. All of them are so good. I very much want IWC pilot watch, but my slender wrist prefer to wears anything smaller than 40mm. Of course the classic Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso in my favourite color Green. Both Grand Seiko is amazing, the white birch model features an incredible movement finished to a high standard. But the dressier and classic SBGY007 is the one I will get. Now it is narrowed down to three watches. If you want me to pick one from these. I would pick SBGY007! It is just a classic shape that is very versatile.

On the wrist: Porsche Design Chronograph “Chronotimer Series 1” Rose Gold bezel Black Titanium Case & Bracelet. My pick is either Omega Speedmaster 321 in Stainless steel. ( I love staring at the original 321 movement) or Zenith Chronomaster Sport with the legendary El Primero.

IWC pilots chronograph (LE petite prince) was my 1st nice piece; mine is the 43mm but I like what they updated for sure and love a good display case back. But 2 watches I grabbed for the collection last year and wear often which I love are 1.) zenith chronomaster sport (white) and 2.) Grand Seiko SBGA407 (sky flake). Between those 2 watches you can do pretty much anything and have a watch fit for any occasion IMHO-dressed up with a suit (GS) or daily wear/sporty attire (Zenith).

Love that IWC chrono 😍, Breitling need to learn from IWC how to make Pilot watches since both of them are king of aviation. From sizes, extra features like the bracelet easy to remove, even has full on calendar day and date and still look good. I am wearing the Batman on Jubilee. I initially was not into the jubilee at first, but wearing it as a daily watch has changed my mind. It is so comfortable to wear and I forget it is on. I really like the black and blue bezel and it makes it a joy to wear. The watch I would choose would be the lake Suwa grand seiko limited edition. I missed out on this watch and will be looking to get a GS this year with the new spring drive movement. I love the white birch, but am not a huge fan of the silvery dial. I wish it was white. The JLC green dial would be my choice from what you showcased today. The omiwatari is awesome, but I want an automatic spring drive with the 5-day reserve. Thank you for the awesome content!

Today I have on my Rolex Sky Dweller, Black dial, its my go-to daily, very elegant and understated on the wrist in steel with the oyster bracelet. So much watch, even at current prices, I definitely see more value than a Daytona here, just my opinion. My pick for the year would be the Cartier Santos in steel with the grey dial and ADLC bezel which is on my hit list for this year.

AP 26315 Royal oak chrono ruthenium dial just like you Andrew 😂. It’s been my favorite watch pick up of 2021 by far and you’re right, they’re just amazing. As for the aforementioned models between 10-20k, I’d have to put my money towards the chrono master sport. With Rolex’s games making most models unattainable at retail I think zenith did an excellent job of making a similar competitor with a better pedigree, movement, and 1/10th sec chrono

wearing a Rolex Explorer 2 216570, it was an outgoing model that had many guessing what 50th anniversary would be. Many were expecting Rolex to be wild like Hublot, they were all wrong. LOL

I am wearing Tudor ceramic. I went to 2 stores in Melbourne and they put me on waiting list of interest. I have been following the Tudor ceramic since it just released was kind of desperate to get hold of one, So I contacted one of my friend as his wife work in the watch industry. Cut the story short after a few sms to her. She said she got 1, but it was for her VIP customer and he or she don’t don’t mind to wait for another one. So instead of waiting for months or years eg my omega snoopy. I got my Tudor ceramic in 3 weeks.

I bought the previous IWC 43mm Chronograph, on leather, for $4700 out the door. They were trying to get them out the door before the new ones came in. I much prefer it, especially on the miltat mesh bracelet it’s now on. I used the remaining $5300 to buy a Tudor Black Bay GMT ($3800)and a used Zin U1 for $1500. I like my choice MUUUUUCH BETTER!

Wearing Pam 519, exceptional 8 day manual wind classic look and excellent price for a daily tough watch. In that range the Rolex Explorer 2 Polar, low demand compared to Sub and GMT, most can get with a short wait at their AD or even in the price range on the gray market. Has a GMT function. But I biased as I need it to pair with my James Cameron, from the bottom of the ocean to the top of the world is a nice combo.
