YES! BOYZ II MEN are true R&B icons. However, it is great that the younger talent are singing songs from 20 or 30 years ago so that they can learn more about their music history. It is sad that today's generation may not have a boy band to match Boyz II Men or New Edition etc.

They kept it real thanks in part to Melvin Franklin (RIP) of The Temptations who was in the Group from 1962-1995 until he died of a Brain Hemorrhage. He told them to be very humble. In England they are also icons and every Boy band wants to be or sound like them. They stayed "together", unlike Jodeci, Dru Hill, HI Five, and Silk and that's saying a lot. What's so amazing is that although they were discovered by Michael Bivins of New Edition/Bell Biv Devoe, their success surpassed them. Even to this Day They Hold the Record For the most successful duet with a Solo Artist.

Give Australia & England their Props. They have been the biggest supporters of R & B. Also keep in mind that they were discovered by Michael Bivins (Of New Edition) who was in their First Video "Motownphilly". Even to this day no Boyband UK/US Black/White can say they achieved what these guys achieved. Melvin Franklin (The Deep Voice) of The Temptations told them to be very humble and Otis Williams (the sole surviving Member) told The Backstreet Boys to stay on top of their Business or else.
