Kershaw has a long tradition of working with the most famous knife designers in the world to deliver some of the most groundbreaking innovations in the knife industry. To get one of their best knives, click this link: bit.ly/2LMfKF3
Their award-winning history and manufacturing capability make Kershaw knives some of the best pocket and sporting knives on the market, especially when you consider the price. Here are our top five picks of the best Kershaw knives, and luckily enough you’ll find them all over at KnifeCenter.com.
First up is the Leek. This knife has been one of Kershaw’s most popular pocket knife series for years. Designed by world famous knife maker Ken Onion, this classic folding knife features the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism that Onion himself invented and can also be found on just about every assisted opening knife Kershaw produces. This flipper-equipped folder is easy to open and easy to add to your EDC rotation thanks to its ultra-slim profile. The lockup on the Leek is super secure thanks to its stainless steel frame lock, and the modified Wharncliffe blade is perfect for everyday use. The Kershaw Leek comes in a variety of colors and materials, so you’ll have options depending on aesthetic. Be sure to let us know your favorite in the comments below.
Next up on our list is the Launch 1 Auto. Kershaw set the knife world on fire with the introduction of the Launch series of budget friendly, USA-made automatic knives. The Launch 1 is at the forefront of that knife line, and it’s still one of the most affordable automatic knives that we’ve ever seen reach this level of quality. Push the button and the BlackWashed CPM-154 blade fires with incredible speed. Multiple colors of anodized aluminum handles add some nice variety. The best part about this auto knife isn’t the low cost or the excellent build, it’s that there are literally no gimmicks. It’s a straightforward cutting tool with a high flat grind and premium blade steel which make this a great EDC automatic knife.
Moving on let’s take a look at Kershaw’s Emerson CQC-7K. The CQC folding knife series is the result of a collaboration with Emerson Knives to bring their industry-leading tactical designs to a wider audience at incredibly affordable prices. The CQC-7K has earned accolades including the BLADE Show Best Buy Knife of the Year award in 2014. It features a devastating tanto blade, ambidextrous thumb disk and an extremely ergonomic handle shape loosely based on the discontinued Reliant design. This pocketknife comes with Emerson’s patented Wave Feature for quick deployment, which allows you to open the knife as it’s removed from your pocket. With Emerson’s tactical flair and Kershaw’s manufacturing prowess, this tactical EDC offers a great knife design that won’t break the bank.
Shifting gears, here is the Kershaw Cryo II. The Cryo II is 20% larger than the original, award-winning Cryo pocketknife, and the grip on this folder is much improved. Buying the Cryo II is also the easiest way to own a Rick Hinderer design without shelling out big bucks. The SpeedSafe assisted opening and flipper tab mean the stainless steel blade is going to be ready at a moment’s notice. If you’re a Kershaw Cryo fan but are worried about the II’s larger build, fear not - the design is slim and its deep-carry clip lets it ride comfortably in your pocket.
Rounding out our list we have the Kershaw Blur. The USA-made Blur is another perennial favorite Ken Onion design. This great knife packs a lot of cutting performance into its SpeedSafe-equipped aluminum frame, which is fitted with non-slip rubber inserts for extra traction. It has an excellent handle to blade ratio, and the slight blade recurve on some models gives you a little more sharpened edge to use. Like the Leek, it’s available in a multitude of blade shapes, steels and handle options, and some of the extremely limited blade steel runs like the ZDP-189 composite and CPM-S60V are some of the most collectible Kershaw knives around.

I work 2 blocks away from Kershaw and every year they have a warehouse sale the first weekend of December, every knive is about 50% off. I absolutely love the quality and customer service. With that said my favorites are the Scallion, Launch 2 and 3. My wife carries the Chive every day and wont leave home without it. Be cautious when buying Kershaw online, if the blade has 4X's on it they do not have the lifetime warranty. Cheers

I've daily carried a Blur since 2008. I bought my first one in 2008, in a tanto blade configuration. Broke the tip, reshaped and sharpened it back. Lost it two separate times for multiple years and it somehow found its way back to me. It's since been retired for sentimental reasons, but I've worn two more since then. One, I lost and never found and the other I've had since 2012. It's now 2023. The grip tape inlay has peeled a bit and I've sharpened it one time with a worksharp sharpener and that's it. It just works. It goes everywhere with me.

The first Kershaw that I ever owned was the OSO Sweet. It was my EDC for several years and I liked it so much that I've given away a dozen, or so, of them to friends and family. A perfect all around pocket knife. My current favorite that I've carried for the past few years is the Blur, in black, with the black partially serrated tanto blade. It's been a beast! I have at least 2, maybe 3, other Kershaws in my collection. All very good knives and very affordable!

I bought the Kershaw Filter at Walmart for $21.00. Awesome knife and very durable. It is a tank that you could probably pass down to your great grandkids. A Humvee couldn't break that thing. 😂 The Cryo II looks just like mine for the most part. Thank you for the video review. 😎✌️

I used a launch two for about three years as my daily, breaking down boxes and such every day.then I sold it to a buddy two years ago,who carries it daily,(he's a comercial electrician) He showed it to me the other day,and apart from being dull as a butter knife, and being a little less snappy on the opening,(because it was so gritty),it was solid as a rock.I have multiple autos, benchmade, protech, etc, and a launch 7 now-build quality, none of those higher end peices have jack on kershaw!

Today they are very collectible my two favorite being the liner lock. straight and serrated edge brand new in the boxes. top five link , zing, volt ss, blackout and to my amazement 8312 thistle very cheap but I like the button to unlock only one like it .

I've got the Link in Bohler M390 - by far my favorite Kershaw. The Cryo in D2 - great little knife that sees more pocket time than any of my Kershaws. And the CQCLX - which isn't a horrible knife, but is really too large; the Emerson wave will deploy the blade, but the blade will often catch on the inside of the pocket.

I don't really know anything about knives but have recently gotten into them because of marvel knife tricks. I came across these these types of knives from the 1999 movie "The Secret Pact"(a movie that I got into because of tbe actor Rider Strong a.k.a Shawn Hunter on Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World). The tricks the character (Lenny Dalton) does in that movie is so simple and elegant yet so badass to me which has gotten me into those types of knives and I really want that knife so I can learn how to do that trick

Framelock leek is the best for me. I have 2 framelocks and 1 with a linerlock. I have tried the blur and find myself not liking the assist on that, but also don't like assists without flippers. It's hard to feel the action of an assist using the thumbstuds which you usually put enough force into to open manually anyway. Great video!

After purchasing the M390 Dividend a couple months ago, I sold my Leek. The Leek is, personally, inferior to the Dividend (especially in the M390 option). If I were to do a Top 5: Dividend (M390), Knockout, Link, Blur, Camber (tho, I admit it's similar to the Dividend...bias be damned!)

I gutted and skinned a whole cow and did not sharpen the blade. The handle has never come loose the clip is never come loose. I would recommend the Cure shot juice can design to anyone and I want another one and they say they don't produce them anymore so if anybody knows how to get me another one I want one

The knife only cost $25.00 and the warranty department wouldn't replace the blade free they wanted me to pay $25.00 for a new blade. Guess I won't be buying Kershaw knives anymore!
