Hi Angela, here's a tip for you! Put a piece of fashion tape under the pocket flap of your jean jacket to hold it down. I do this and it works like a charm. And who ever uses that chest pocket anyway!

Clogs also look great with bootcut jeans. Try your bootcut jeans untucked over your hiking boots. If the heel is high enough it can look ok

Being 5'3" & a curvy size 4-6 , I've always worn straight leg & boot cut jeans ; some are a shorter length for flats , sneakers , driving mocs, etc. & some are longer for other footwear . Also , I ride horses & wear med. or sometimes long ( !!! ) length w/ those boots so when in the saddle , they aren't " high waters " ! 🙂 Straight leg dress pants also in two lengths for the corresponding shoe choices . A couple basic classic styles & colors , two lengths = versatility . 💟

Boot cut jeans I believe we're designed so the slight flare could slip over the out of boots, think over cowboy boots. I really like the cut as they are most flattering cut for my shape which is 5' 4 1/5" , currently 3x top, 16 W pants, apple shape, flat butt, no hips, but shapely legs.

Because of your channel I got the hiker boots and love them. I got mine in Ivory and wore them with my Loft boyfriend jeans. The jeans went over the top of boots nicely and looked great.

You've given me ideas to wear my layering tops/jackets more. I always thought some flare in jeans was more attractive. It does balance the hips. I think blazers were standard apparel in 1960 more or less, especially for business dress. I had a white blazer when I was around 20 that I wore a lot. Also had navy a few years later in both summer fabric and wool blend winter fabric. Great for office with dress or skirt and blouse. My mom always loved blazers.

They’re great at just the ankle bone with booties and so cute! I live in southern FL (for now, moving to TV) and my must haves are nice white or black Tshirt, I can dress up or down, white jeans or capris and a red or orange handbag, it adds a pop of color to any outfit that may be lacking because I keep it pretty plain. Patterns typically freak me out. I'm originally from Michigan and looking forward to being able to wear warmer style clothing. It never really gets cool down here. 😄 Just hoping it doesn't get too cool up there.

I used to only wear bootcut jeans because I was terrified of skinny jeans being a big woman with huge hips and thighs. But once I started wearing skinny jeans and straight/slim leg jeans I realized that they were far more flattering because even though my legs are larger, they are also super short. I am 5’10 but have a 28” inseam and the bootcut jeans made my legs look so much shorter and wider. I usually stick to either one extreme or the other now - skinny/slim jeans, tailored trousers, or wide leg linen pants.
