Out of all of the gimmicks in Burst, I like the fusion gimmick the most. Duo Eclipse may have introduced it first, but BU Super Hyperion and BU King Helios perfected it because it was quite usable for competitive (at least for King and SuperKing on Attack) and the fact that there are many ways to fuse the layers was a genius move on TT.

Personally my favorite gimmick in DB was Belial's evolution gears, the fact that you get to power it with each other product you buy is just great value and gets you excited to get the product with the gear to complete the combination. For BU I'm between Xiphoid's Sword and the SuperKing Fusions, both are awesome.

I've always liked Ragnaruk's stamina wings. I know they don't do anything but TT pretending they actually matter is kinda funny (and the clicking sound you get in battle is really satisfying)

Revive Armour will forever be my favourite burst gimmick. Despite not being good I also liked the infinite lock system Beys and the flipped layer gimmicks Really hope that in X we get some cool gimmicks too. Maybe not to the extent that burst did since they’re looking to make it more like a sport but hope we get to the level of metal fight with adjustable layers/whatever you want to call them

My top 7 are The lost longinus layer in s1 for being the first bey with metal on the layer and the first left spin ever in burst My second choice for god is the twin nemesis layer I like the idea of both smash attack and upper attack on one bey My third choice for cho z is perfect phoenix bc of the armor gimmick it's just really cool My fourth choice in gt is generate bc it reminds me of final survive from mfb My 5th choice in sparking is the volcano blade bc of the gimmick of it I like the idea of the spring causing recoil My 6th choice in db is guilty bc of how low it is how much metal is on it and how good it is And for bu I would have to say xcaliber also bc of how cool the idea is I just personally like how the sword comes out and gives a hard hit But those are mine

If bayblade X were to bring back gimmicks for competitive, what are some your like for them to remake, I'd like for free spin to come back just to see how it'd work on the grind stadium, like a fast mace or free spin blade too, same with the projectile blade, outer blade that runs around stadium would be cool to see just stop a high speed railbey with a huge hit, & just bring back rubber tips to be extra fast & other tips like wide, atomic, or even just metal tips

Awesome video Zankye. TT did a great job with burst, it had a lot of gimmicks and i had a lot of fun with this generation. Meanwhile hasbruh was a disgrace to the beyblade community, hope it improves or doesn't get any permission to make beys.

Gotta be honest here I think the way the pulled off xyphoid was ugly and they should have made it one whole layer like Raphael and have a part interact with the disk and release the sword like how beat kukulkan worked
