we can see a significant change here due to khelo india programme... no. of medals have also been increased in last few years... 140crores ki population hai bhai humari..... talent ki koi kami nahi hai..... bas kami hai to use pahchanne ki aur ek sahi track dene ki... recently kuch improvements dekhne ko mile hain.... govt ne bhi effort lagaye hain khelo india jaise initiatives se.. humare yaha cricket overhyped hai humlogo ki wjaah se.... so sabhi se request hai en sab sports ko bhi thoda support kare tabhi change aa sakta hai or...humare athletes ko bhi motivation milegi ki unki bhi ek alag pahchan hai ... sach kahu to neeraj chopra se pahle mai nahi janta tha ki jawelin throw bhi hota hai...par enhone ek aise sports me humare desh ka naam aage bdaya hai jise most of the people nahi jante the.. ense motivate ho kar aur bhi log Jawelin me aayenge... aise bhot se sports hain jinko bas thodi support or pyar ki jarurat hai

Well, Olympics is pretty much a celebration of Rich western european countries along with China showing off. Exceptions are there with Kenya and Jamaica in running disciplines. Apart from only football and athletics , majority of the sports are pretty expensive to maintain especially due to the so called introduction of Professionalism. If any western country's economy gets dropped significantly, they would also fail at the olympics and their results would be near around India.

Indian government and our youth should work more on Olympics rather then overrated cricket which is overcrowded and less opportunity, only batter has advantage and the so called big players rule the cricket Poor management and poor board of cricket and no ICC trophy for India since ages. Kerala and NorthEastern athletes do take non-veg diets naturally from childhood. Mirabai Chanu changed his diet to include Salmon Fish before the olympics and look at the results. Its only in North India, where these superstitions and castism exists. Probably the most regressive social structures even after calling themselves educated.
