I've seen a couple of people ask, so I figured I'd answer: you don't need a CDL to run this truck for personal use. You would need one to use it in a hotshot business or any other commercial application. You can also register a full-size semi truck as RV and run non CDL. A commercial drivers license only applies when you're using the vehicle in a commercial application

I absolutely love everything about this truck and the guy selling it. But one thing I have to say is as a class A holder, I got pulled over into a DOT inspection stop and my air brake valve was spun just like it was in this video and I got red tagged until it was taken off and put on upright, but since 1 letter was half gone I had to get a new one. Gotta love DOT!!!!! Not sure if non commercial use would matter but gave me flashbacks of the officer mad he couldnt find anything else to ticket me for. Thanks for the great video!!

10 and 11.5 mog is totally achievable in the new diesel haulers. It has to do with driver habits and commitment to driving sensibly around 54 to 58 mph everything you drive it. I leas3d a 2013 Cascadia thru Prime Inc inside leasing depth. No doubt I managed a 9.5 mpg for a week. Had I not allowed my apu to run all weekend while I was at home it'd been over 10 mpg. Nice haulers you are demoing.

I consider my Kenworth T 680 a real top of the line RV hauler😄😜 many people I meet at the HDT rallies are leaving that medium duty truck for the HDT. And you can pick them up customized for less money.

What is the Max gross combined weight, some builders tag the gross combined to 33K. You can tell Alex is a comedy show, awesome.

One question I have is, has freightliner separated the trans cooler and the radiator yet. The last one of these I had the pleasure to operate had and issue with that. It would crack in between and then make a strawberry milkshake destroying the transmission.

I used to deliver these Freightliner M2 106, M2 112 and the 108SD as cab and chasis and box trucks and they had to be the worst riding and most unreliable trucks I ever drove. Had all kinds of trouble with cummins engines. Most of the RV market are getting Heavy Duty Trucks (highway semis) and making those into RV haulers.

These were originally designed (not all of the custom stuff) for race car trailer and/or horse trailers. I suppose now as big as some 5th wheel travel trailer are I suppose. Okay big boat hauling, works but as much as that and a travel trailer costs, I’d go with a Diesel pusher Motor Coach. But nice truck. Just too expensive IMO but the 10 hp might not be much, but what about torque numbers?

M2 112 - go big or go home. That guy was pure salesman, albeit with some decent spec knowledge.

If I’m able to get one it’ll be a personal vehicle not commercial I’ll use it to pull a 5th wheel and if I’m able to build it my mud truck and atv it would have to be custom it will definitely need a premium stereo but that’s only if I win big on a roll of scratch offs but it’ll definitely happen if I win pick 4 enough times to get enough money for a roll of scratch offs then I get that roll I’m for sure going to win big on at least one scratch offs and that’s a lot of money hopefully it doesn’t require a cdl I live in Florida so I’d have to have it delivered

The sport chassis are nice, but Freightliner needs to do something with the design it's very dated. Granted this is very nice but before I spent 200k+ on this I'd order a bolt customs Volvo vnr crew cab, same setup except on basically just on a class 8 drivetrain.

It would be nice if they point out built-in noise "Cancelations" in these trucks. That is all it needs. Knowing these trucks is loud and I work with one of them as will and drive them and I know when I go sleep at home at night, I still hear the truck in my head lol .
