Normally I have a good sense of direction, but all those sewer pipes were annoying. I HIGHLY recommend stocking up on some Glowstones and leaving them at key locations to help keep you orientated and avoid unnecessary backtracking.

FromSoft games usually have great dungeons, but whoever designed the Shunning-Grounds deserves whatever weed they were smoking get taken away. This area is a maze, which is usually okay, but when every single tunnel looks the same... Well, that's just bad game design.

The glow stones fade after 30 seconds! I think the rainbow stones might be better as I believe they’ll last for the current time you’re logged in. They’re not as bright, but they’ll remain. Those glow stones have been a boon though.

The tunnels weren't bad for me. They may look the same, as they should. (They are just tunnels) But I knew when I came to area that I previously ran through. There were no enemies. Haha

Just a tip dont kill the prawn guy when you first meet him. He will be sitting in the moat talk to him before getting invaded. You will get a seedbedcurse after killing dung eater in the moat

this was one of the most memorable parts of the game for me. you go to leyndell, a beautiful but broken down city... and then you find your way into the sewers and its this horrible disgusting place full of twists and absolute vileness as you decend deeper and deeper (both literally and into madness :D - just when you think youve gone as deep as you can, there are deeper secrets yet! it was like a flashback to the depths/blighttown (without so much poison thankfully) i hated and loved it! ill certainly never forget it. amazing level design! it transformed the game play experience for me.

Those rainbow stones make for good breadcrumb trails in those pipes.

Miranda blooms are weak to fire; toss a fireball at them, or a firepot or something and they burn for a bit during which time they can't do anything, giving you ample time to land a few hits with a tougher weapon. I'd go for a faith fireball spell; the standard fireball barely takes any faith, and a seal barely weighs anything; so it's always a nice to have around.

Good evening my guy, just want to say I bought ER about a month ago and at first I thought shit I cant kill anything (first souls game ever). Thanks to your guides this game has become one of my favourite games of all time. There’s so much to do! I’ve never enjoyed exploring huge maps however this somehow makes everything fun. @@cookie4205 dude, dont use guides for your first playthrough, its a shame to spoiler yourself in this videos so hard. play the game, when you are done, then watch his clips. i know a lot of people, they are sad, that they spoiled themselfs. this game is a masterpiece.

Just to mention this, for your Dung-eater's questline, in the game there are a total of 6 curses. One being missable (from blackguard's "quest"). In case you are wondering; if you have all 6 on you, upon reaching the point of giving them to Dung-eater, all of them will be removed from your inventory not just 5

Also if you have been following Rannis line you get a potion from Selvus. If you stop there you can give it to the dung eater to get him as a summon. If you keep progressing Rannis line however Selvus dies and you can't give D.E. the potion

@@tycol322that DROVE me up the fucking wall. I did all of dung eaters quest until you can give him the potion, mind you that was like 15 hours of playing unlocking haligtree and whatnot. Only to have no option to give dung eater the potion took me another hour to deduce everything and go back to selluvis to figure out what’s up only to find seluvis’s dead body. Never been so pissed, did it all for the summon. I hate how this game locks you out of content. ESPECIALLY because it’s very unclear when seluvis dies no warning

A tip for the ogres: equip a shield with buckler parry, carian retaliation, etc and a highly upgraded dagger, the red black knife talisman and the crit talisman. The ogres are super easy to parry if they don't kick or spit flames, and the red knife talisman heals you twice with each parry crit so it can easily save you from any mistakes without needing to drink flasks

@@tylers2889I’d actually say that’s ok because the only seedbed curse that’s particularly tough to get is the haligtree. BUT there’s two in the haligtree so even if you get the one from the crab guy you still have to go to the haligtree. I guess you could skip the volcano manor seedbed curse if you get the one from crab bro but nbd. The they seem to specifically set up the quest so that crab guys one effects little

So many imps! Little buggers got my mage so many time no matter how careful I thought I was being. I took out the lobsters with poison arrows from high up, they are fast and lethal and my fighting ability well below par.

Like with Patches, I killed Dung Eater (mostly cuz I’d already locked myself out of the ending he’d help get to). But I didn’t find him until I’d cleared out the rest of that dungeon. Even then, he was TOUGH!

Probably for next video, but it's possible to skip the next long tunnel section by jumping into the elevator after the first short cut/giant metal gate. There's a video that goes into more detail.

That god damn surprise rat doesn't spawn until you get close. Try attacking the boxes it spawns in proactively and it will still appear out of thin air once you reach its trigger.

About to start playing some Elden Ring just got off work Yippy!! 💪 Edit: those freaking Omen down there are the worst! Very difficult enemies if your not prepared. I reccommend not holding back at all and killing them as fast as possible with your strongest attacks. Fire works well 👌

You can cheese the crayfish by digging them behind two post in the ground holding up the tunnels. They can’t get past the post so you can attack them then dodge and reattack. Works on both

This might be common knowledge at this point but just in case it helps someone I wanna mention that any healing incantation will critical revenants. They are very weak to healing magic. Use to kill royal revenant. If your in the pipes above them and use this spell it's possible to kill them below you or at least damage them greatly 👍

The way i defeated the Dung eater was pretty funny so i was getting my ass kicked by him for the first half of the fight then out of no where this giant crab came out of the ground and started attacking me to but then he spit some death blight at me nearly killed me but i just barley escaped it but the dung eater got caught in it and it instantly killed him so yea if you want to easily kill him there you go fun little tip 😂

Crayfish are easy once you know that when they jump you roll dodge under them. Their belly is a weak spot and opens up for a execute move after hitting it a couple of times. Yes they were extremely difficult before I figur3d out

@4:26 I hear ya, I'm the same. I just have to kill as many enemies as I can; I don't like running away unless I really have to lol. I have to say I'm not looking forward to this...I have explored somewhat but it's the fact that you have the ridiculously tanky Omens and those annoying Giant Crayfish that's putting me off further exploration (and my sorceress is powerful, but still...). I'm not so bothered by the other enemies (including the RR which can be killed in two hits of a healing incantation anyways) nor about getting lost: it's the Omens and Crayfish! You'd think if I can deal with the enemies at the Moghwyn Palace Dynasty area (as well as the boss himself) I'd be able to handle the SSG. I'm really dreading it...

The Milos Sword restores FP for every kill. Also, the Milos Sword AoW buffs yourself and debuff the enemies. I off hand it with The Blasphemous Blade, restores HP and FP for every kill

On another video everybody kept saying how they died to the hands lmao. I'm over here getting rekt by lobsters 😅. That was the first time I've ever been grabbed by a lobster and just straight rolled. Definitely not too excited about exploring this one lol... I'm level 90 and I honestly feel like coming back. But momma didn't raise no b!$%&

The small finger spiders in front of the dung eaters cell drop somber 7 stones. You can farm them by fast traveling back to the starting grace and run back to the area !!

8:00 You can cheese the crawfish ( pun intended: BA DA BUMP) before you go down. Rock Sling has the range and fair MP cost.

Use a shield when doing the pipe section with the imps. Walk calmly and you can get them to simply rush at you and fall to their deaths alot. Also be wary of imps hanging on the pipes above you ready to pounce. I used arrows to knock most of them down to the depths below

You can also use crystal darts to get them to start attacking each other.

Just kill the bung eater if you’re not interested in defiling the world. I also didn’t want crab mass to die. You get his armour set and his sword when you kill the bung eater. You also definitely save your world from a sick man.

The lobsters are really easy to put to sleep. One pot of sleep puts them out.

I killed Dung Eater in the sewer. He is so gross I wanted him out of my game asap. Well... technically the finger creeper killed him. But he drops all his gear all the same. Protect the Blackguard!

After being threatened by his spirit at the Hold, passing on his Ash, and reading a bit about his lore...I executed him on the spot then cleansed my Tarnished self with soap. Most accursed character, ever.

You didn't show how to get the item that is on a ceiling beam in the main hallway near the main Grace. It's up near the ceiling, above the ladder at 1:06. Anyone know how to get that?
