The foul by Simmons on Powell was straight up dangerous, I'm surprised we saw Norm get up at all after that. Then to give him a tech afterwards? Definitely something that should be investigated by the NBA.

A few years ago prior to the Raptors winning their first title the league admitted to blowing calls in 4 games late that likely swung the game in the other direction, but in saying that they still won 59 games that season, and having been a season ticket holder since day one I have seen quite a bit. Look at the shot chart. Raptors had 54 shots to the 76ers 34 shots in the paint. Now, they don't count fouled shots, but even so, it's clear something fishy was going on... Also, just watching the game itself, you could clearly see the bias. Must be frustrating as a team to experience this.

Officials are making lots of game way too unenjoyable as a raps fan this year. I'd say they need accountability but they're probably already doing what they're told.

The previous game in the series was called just as one-sided. Ben Simmons made it to the line more than the entire Raptors team did in the whole game. Last night TO was bricking threes from beyond the arc, so they pushed the ball into the paint, but miraculously, the Raps seldom drew fouls. And there's been games this year where guys have come out with busted lips, cuts under the eyes, or in the case of OG, caught a Giannis elbow to the jaw that could have knocked him unconscious. Every time those plays could spell technical fouls, or even Flagrant 1s or 2s, the refs barely look to see if the Raps players are OK. Yeah, small ball players get knocked around due to their height, but that doesn't make them any less deserving of drawing fouls. It's hard not to question if the NBA has it out for Toronto anymore. We the fans love to complain about the refs more than most teams, but if a guy like you, someone who cheers for the Lakers, can see just how hard it is for a Raptors player to draw a foul, there's something really amiss.

Refs have been horrible to the Raps all year. This no call was shocking. The nerve to follow that no call up with a technical is even more shocking. What recourse do we have for these terrible nights by these refs? Who is keeping these refs in line? Are there ever any consequences?

I swear the refs bet on the sixers to win this game, and that's the reason why the Raptors got screwed over. Yes, I know I am a Raptors fan, but I really have nothing against the sixers, just the fact that these refs need to get fired.

The referring problem in the NBA (and it’s a big problem) is fixable. The NBA just doesn’t want to do anything about it. The games need to be reviewed after the game by a panel of experts (like the review centre) to determine how accurately the games were called (I.e.fouls called vs could missed ratio). If the ratio is imbalanced from an average, the refs should be impacted somehow, whether that is salary or fines or whatever. If that’s the case it hits home, and the overall quality will improve. Same game reviews should review flops, and retroactively fine players a decent amount (like 6 digits), which would fix the flopping issue. Unfortunately the league has zero interest in fixing this, so we’ll keep having this piss poor officiating. It’s truly pathetic and has been for quite some time now.

If the Raps a playing are premier team in the standing, they don't get the benefit of the doubt calls. They don't get star player calls. Been like this for like forever. The NBA on purpose try not to include the Raps or lower market teams in their premier events like Christmas Day game or all-star games because of ratings, I feel this effects the refs. They know theirs a bias and for them to earn the spotlight for premier games and events, they know which players get special treatment. It's for this reason I feel the NBA is fraud.

13 free throws is almost the norm for the Raps in any game,....while the other teams get twice as much, on avg. Check it out for yourself. With the Raptors winning, it is not good for TV ratings in the US and the NBA feeds off good TV ratings. This is why, you will only see big star player teams go to NBA finals, the Raptors did this once, with Kawhi Leonard and won, ....a team with some undrafted players, just can't keep going to the finals.

I support the raptors but I've gotta ask. Have you considered that the raptors on general play very aggressive defense as compare to other teams, leaving them more foul prone? You looks at POINTS at the rim as an indication of how much each team attacked the rim, but is that accurate considering that a foul on an attempt at attacking the rim would not register any points at the rim? Would it have been better to raise up instances of poor fouls throughout the game to argue your point?

Sorry but the logic about free throws bs paint points is COMPLETELY ILLOGICAL!!! If anything , knowing how often the Sixers do try attack the rim usually ... the fact that they scored SO MANY LESS points in the paint specifically makes u actually think that it's entirely likely that the raptors fouled a lot more on rim attempts and THAT IS WHY they had less successful field goals in the paint ... because shots that would have been made inside the paint .. instead they were fouled and made to earn them at the line !!!! So your argument is actually completely opposite ! The free throws generally ( of course there are exceptions ) are from attempts driving .. quite simply the Sixers didn't foul as much which meant less free throws and more successful field goals .. whereas the raptors decided that (particularly with embiid and Simmons who had over half the Sixers attempts ) that they were gonna make them make their shots at the free throw line instead of allowing them to make the shot
