The fact that mashing M is as weak as it is makes me wonder if you're supposed to *hold* M instead.

Update on that! I’ve tried both holding and mashing M, and it turns out that the microphone audio sample only activates after holding it down for .5 seconds. However, the default audio sample is too weak for my attacks to go any higher than “Ok”. I’ve just finished recording episode 20 and I’ve finally fixed it! I can now effortlessly do “Excellent” attacks with a much better audio sample :)
