My dad was a construction worker at the Trafford Centre, he got the guys doing the hieroglyphics in the orient to put my name on the throne next to pizza hut. Was hoping there may have been a slight chance of seeing him somewhere on this video. R.I.P Dad ❤️

20 years ago. Wow. I remember this being built. I remember driving past it all the time.. and so many memories! and even ended up working there for a bit. So much nostalgia. Wow.

I remember somebody saying when it was being built you could go in on a Monday and come out on a friday it's going to be so big, it even has a hotel 🤣😂

I live In partington i worked in selfridges when it opened the day it opened xouldnt believe how massive it was when i went on my lunch break..miss the festival village bad ..move on now i still love it..

I miss the Festival Village, I used to go there when I was in high school. Brings back many memories, I hardly go to the Trafford Centre anymore but it was much cooler back then!

I was 5 years old maybe 6 when festival village shut... I vaguely remember some singing bears (They moved to Barton Square in 2011) and Mcdonalds... Memories... I moved from UK now, living elsewhere in Europe. I used to live half an hour away and would come here nearly every weekend.. I miss the old days...

I remember the 2 icons of the singing bears and the singing christmas tree at chrismas as things that represent the trafford centre when i was a kid but sadly the bears have gone an well for the christmas tree its in a bad shape
