Nothing bothers me more than having criminals who've committed heinous crimes be allowed to serve their sentences concurrently. Might as well just charge and convict them of one crime☹

Terrible. Conscription was a terrible thing for some of our men. (some just very messed up boys with a horrible home life) My ex was the same. We went through sooo many of these family episodes, until after 18 years I took my girls and ran. 13 years later I am so glad I did. Otherwise we would have been a statistic. Unfortunately I left to late to stop messing my girls' heads. Thanks Nicole for the story. Please can you do a story on Chantelle Barnard. from Benoni. I would love your take on it.

Wow, he watched his own baby girl running away from him after hearing hear brother getting killed, seeing her mother shot....and he shoots her like an enemy soldier running away from to inform about his position....and he will be out in 12 years for that?? Very sad. An incompetent execution of our laws, he will do this again. I know a few men who have been to war zones and some never came back the same, however, the point I'm making is that if a soldier already had a predisposition to murder or severe mental illness, putting a gun in his hands and showing him how to use it professionally under war conditions and then subjecting them to that type of distress is a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately a lot of sickos are not able to be weeded out during initial selection phase.
