I've lost a couple friends to suicide, so this one hit me different. I may hate South Carolina, but after seeing this video, I will definitely hate them a little less since they made sure Hurst got the help he needed. Glad we have a fighter like Hurst on the Falcons. Excellent video Blake.

I don’t like the title of this video. His story is not tragic, it’s triumphant. He overcame his alcoholism and depression, and is living proof to many currently suffering that depression is temporary, people care, and things get better.

Muschamp isn't a great head coach. He has failed at both his attempts, but as a human being he's an amazing person. He led a clean program in Columbia that graduated its students. When the story broke about Hayden's suicide attempt Muschamp gained a lot of respect from the community. Sure, we didn't get results on the field we wanted, but we got amazing students that are going to be amazing adults.
