I found reading the Word of God to be very healing. Not just a little study but extensive reading. It was so healing and God really speaks through His own words.

I had a psy prof at CU Boylder many years ago that in our first class he said you are going to stop using should...don't should on yourself!....One of the best pasy classes I ever had!

This is why Ive eliminated the word " Should" from my vocabulary. I no longer "should" on myself or anyone else for that matter...words do indeed have power 😊

Ultimately, we as humans are called by God to overcome evil with good. We must have a renewal of our minds. The only way we can accomplish our purpose in life is to constantly feed ourselves God's Word.

Ist's helpful to know about the polyvegal theory and that early childhood trauma and trauma from our ancestors cannot be released by telling ourselves whatever. Its in our nervous system. Often it is only glossed over by these "transformation" ideas. You have to connect to selfregulation via somatic work.

I've heard this thought many times before, of course, but this clip is the second one today - it's the "You're not the center of the universe" idea. My interpretation of that idea shifted today when it occurred to me that every living being actually does have the perspective of being the center of the universe, and that maybe there's a reason for that.

It's a shift from the "i" ego-self center of the universe to the "I" am spirit, a weaned child of God, in his image, and co-creator with Him/His Grace of my universe.

I love me because I have to, not by might not by power not by controlling but by my spirit. nobody will have submission of my heart unless they are worthy to be trusted. my soul is precious and can not be destroyed by fools. Humility is power. Love the highest vibration. Love to all who are of a clear conscience and who do no harm, these are our soul family. We are not alone divine warriors. Justice in one hand and compassion in the other, alway the option of forgiveness or there's the word. The sword of the spirit. 🙏🙏🗽🗽🗽

A Quaker law prof (PENN LAW) who was once a devout Reformed Jew, published many very dense books. My Irish brain only remembers his definition of Karma, you can not possibly understand the power of the spoken word, once you do, then work on the power of the words that just roll around in your brain. It is a journey of a lifetime, Karma is not RETRIBUTION, as it is most often quoted in contemporary American culture.

How we see the event is the very base for epi-genetics.... for me very obvious, and the big question for me is the pattern behind the "choise" of the specific interpretation. The "how we see the event" many times has nothing to do with the actual event although there are challenges.. cause some events can evoke major traumas and have the potential to shake the inner world apart. Then the challenge of positive interpretation requires all kinds of faculties awareness and maybe knowledge.

Sometimes, when a child, a baby actually, is abused sexually, at a very early age, like 2 / 10 months, they do NOT know what hurt and pain they carry within them. Only situations happen along the line that trigger explosions of anger, fear etc. that seem impossible to explain.
