Climbing the trees isn’t a exploit its tactical, my favorite trees are in Livonia, goto grabin run north to the mili camp and you can jump on the shed next to the mil tent and hop up and the shed by piano you can also climb and you can snipe all the way down to the water pump lmao I controlled official servers on PlayStation there by using those trees because I’d stash all my gear up the hill further north in the trees

With all the issues with climbing trees, in that it doesn't seem to really be intended (why not??) where some community servers might even call it an 'exploit', perhaps there is another approach. Conceivably, a hunting stand/seat that you attached to a tree high on up. Rare item that takes up space in your bag, but once set up in a tree, it should persist for a while like other things. Maybe it requires some gear to get yourself up the tree in the first place, I'm not familiar with the operation of those. I think what you do is you drive or screw in specific metal rungs to create a makeshift ladder up the tree. In DayZ gameplay mechanics it would partly be a matter of finding enough climbing rungs to get your character up a tree in addition to finding the folding seat item. Players would have to work for it to acquire what's necessary. if they wanted to expand their sniping skillz.
