The Triffids nearing the end of the 80's and their long voyage of brilliance coming into land. A soulful set of songs, Hometown Farewell Kiss is this set's apex. Oh yes, I could listen to Graham sing country all day long!

This amazing live performance is one of the best I’ve seen of The Triffids! It’s a great recording and shows David’s voice and all the instruments beautifully 👏👏👏👍👍🙏❤️

Seeing THE TRIFFIDS live in GHENT at the time of BORN SANDY DEVOTIONAL(Flanders, BELGIUM) was one of the greatest concerts I ever witnessed. The record CALENTURE was and is equally brilliant. TREELESS PLAIN is underrated....David MCcomb's lyrics were -to quote STEVE KILBEY- worthy of DYLAN.

Yep saw them early eighties at the Pandora’s Music Box festival in Rotterdam. I can even remember it together with performances of Nick Cave, The Cult and many many others.
