Welcome to Project Winter: Blackout DLC
A twist on the classic Traitor vs Survivors game mode, now there is the Demon and Whisperer roles for the Traitor, yes THE traitor. One traitor per game and this game mode focuses on converting Survivors to your team.
Demon
Beware of the Demon, this possessed traitor role will forcefully possess downed Survivors and convert them to the Traitor team. Careful when traveling alone!
Whisperer
Opposite to the Demon, the Whisperer will prefer to stick with the group. The Whisperer does not require the survivor to knocked out but rather passively converts multiple survivors without them knowing, until it is too late.

That's something that's irked me for the longest time. Because "being chaotic" is something you don't deliberately do. Chaotic, in a literal sense, is something without rhyme or reason. Meaning to do something with the intent of being "chaotic" immediately revokes it from being chaotic.

So many people mentioning the Initiate Takeoff incident, but the thing I don't find as fun is the truth serum. I realize Cheesy got lucky and found the crate that didn't blow up, but honestly, I wish all truth serums fell under a house rule of not using them. It just takes away the deception aspect of the game. Even if you prove someone's a survivor, it means you know you can 100% trust them. The explosive crossbow is already a great reward for finding the correct crate in this instance.

Both instances were frustrating to watch. If you're going to have a house rule that you don't kill for the first 10 minutes, then things that out the evil need to be under the same rule. The no killing rule makes sense so that someone isn't forced to sit out for 25 minutes, but that's nearly what happened to the evil here. And then he started trying to kill him before the 10 minute rule was up too. Cheesy is usually fun to watch when he's playing with Chilled, but this one sort of pissed me off a little bit.

26:00 That's got to be the shortest game they've ever had. 39:30 HOW can you be that unlucky? 53:00 The Initiate Takeoff button should be disabled until every Innocent person gets on or dies because this isn't the first time someone trolls for "content" at the expense of others.

I don't think the initiate takeoff should be disabled until everyone is on in case one person is trolling, or the traitors abuse this by keeping someone alive to prevent escape, but I do think it could be reworked. Maybe make it a voting system? Where 50% or more of the people on the ship have to initiate takeoff for it to start, and it doesn't leave with only 1 or 2 people if there is at least 4 innocents alive.

Yeah like... Wasn't there a house rule against truth serums so soon? If I heard correctly, Chilled and Kara agreed they couldn't kill until 19 minutes 45 seconds on the clock, and then Cheesy revealed Chilled's role.

I have to agree. Trolling is all good fun when it's in a short game, like Among Us. But in these long, half hour games its just not fun to watch.

@@StygianIkazuchi The rule was that you cannot do truth serums until the first objective is finished. So Cheesy honored the rule and there wasn't anything wrong with it. Edit: Ok nevermind, did not know there was an additional house rule on the truth serum.

@@StygianIkazuchi Not exactly, it's only the lab. If you get a lucky crate it's fine. Chilled in this same session actually got it and used it on Cheesy beforehand in under 10mins. Think it is worth remembering we're only seeing Chilled's side and only random games from that session.

Trolling can be fun, but personally I think this is a game where trolling is just plain mean/rude rounds take so long, they're such a time investment that trolling at the end essentially undermines half an hour of work it doesn't feel good at all to watch that happen :(

Especially when it's not even... fun trolling. Like the whole "there's only 1 non-traitor" types of trolling rounds and stuff are generally at least fun for everyone - The whole... "I'm just going to throw the game for absolutely no reason and call it "content"" thing is just... being mean and disrespecting EVERYONE else involved. Viewers included. It's legitimately never fun to watch, regardless of the game or who's doing it or the circumstances around it, but it's even worse in cases like this where, y'know... it just absolutely straight up ruins the entire experience for every single other person involved when they were less than 30 seconds from the cleanest victory we've maybe ever seen out of the game. Toxic voice/text chat aside, I legitimately thought one of the biggest reasons that games like this were generally played without viewers of any kind was specifically to avoid stuff like... exactly this. The "5 seconds of fame by ruining everyone else's experience" form of... well, to be blunt, toxic behavior.

@@AtomicArtumas If there's any reason people like Chilled plays games like these without viewers, above all else, its because social deduction games are only rivalled by FPS streamers on stream sniping. And since social deduction games allow you to snipe every tangible piece of info about their role, what they've done over the course of the game, & everything THEY know, that's basically Game Over+ in a heartbeat. But yeah, I do agree that the range of things people can get away with by calling it "content" is a little too high. Because I think we'd al agree more than disagree that if someone in that VC tried to voice complaints about what Cheesy did on stream, it could very well turn into a re-write of the Rachel situation, only more of a morally gray area.

I thought it was funny. I mean, at the end of the day, it's just a game, and they basically won already. If it was a stranger trolling and I was playing for points, that's one thing, but when playing just for the experience, AND he's my friend? Hilarious. That being said, all social groups are different and people should use some sense accordingly. Just imo, it wasn't that bad, it's not like a warcrime lmao Edit: the truth serum was awkward though. Directly agreed apon rule, after all.

@@GrzybeK3009Back in the earliest days of Among Us, Rachel had a game where she, as an Impostor, got screwed into a 0% win scenario, that she had no way of knowing she walked into. But she was also very vocal about it, & the general response was "If you're not having fun, you can leave." The point I'm trying to make is that I feel like if one of the people who got robbed by Cheesy tried to be vocal about their robbery, they'd most likely get shut down mid-sentence, because "it was all in good fun."

Project Winter always has so many possibilities and so much going on. I feel like the difficulty of it just adds to the suspense and makes winning even more rewarding. With Among Us I usually only ever enjoy watching Chilled as a bad guy but with Project Winter it's always enjoyable.

Spoilers btw But god damn that third game was brutal in the end, Cheesy unknowingly got rid of the two best players in one go and the rest fell to the imposters, I feel bad for Eme, Court, and Larry since they were close, especially Court and Larry who got off to help. Won't harp on Cheesy since everyone else is, but I don't feel to bad for him getting shit since that was a brutal move to do.

Man, some people have such cursed genetics and you have my real sympathy. The way ya'll describe it sounds like it's a constant, looming problem for you, which I don't think would be the end of the world, but it's just another one of those "constant" issues that nobody needs in their life. I was born with the metabolism of a junky, the physique and muscle-memory of a Spartan prince, and it always occurs to me how lucky I am when someone talks about dieting that my parents made me exempt from that concern.

Trolling your friends is one thing, but trolling your friends by leaving them to die AND breaking the house rule of no truth serum for the first 10 minutes...My god Cheesy Edit: I decided to remove the KOS Cheesy part because I realized my mistake with how I felt. I understand Cheesy wanted to make the content more interesting, but leaving your friends to die in game is something I am 1000% against.

I might be incorrect but the house rule of the lab used to be after first objective (which they did) or 10min and finding a truth serum in a crate was always okay. I get that you're trying to root for chilled here and for the survivors in general maybe but they are all trying to have fun and make content and since no one actually got mad at Cheesy maybe you should just be okay with them having some fun :)

Cheesy isn’t the first person to hit the departure button early. But it definitely was frustrating/annoying to watch and just dragged the game out for no reason. Think the game itself should change the mechanic, and in the meantime they add house rule about it.

Except three things. First, he didn't steal the vehicle this time. He himself got off the vehicle. Second, If they do this, Cheesy never GETS the chance to not steal the vehicle rendering this pointless. Third, this is not how you keep a friendship healthy. As frustrating as it is, this is still just a game and they're friends. There's a reason Chilled and the others always state things like "if they kill you I'm going to look the other way" but none of them ever actually does anything like that.

That 1 game where chilled went to the bathroom. Did larry just vanish? I know i dont smoke, but i thought i was high for a moment. Other than that, great session. Overly joyed (?) with this one.
