We did it in 2017, Great Day out. Stayed in Cairns at a caravan park. Shuttle bus pick up and return to park

I commented on your previous video and as a retired Interstate Truckie, I know how perilous the roads can be. Your video at the Arthur River (N.T.) Please don't ever stop in a dry riverbed as the oncoming Roadtrain probably didn't see you until the last minute. I started driving Roadtrains in the Northern Territory, South Australia and Kimberley in 1980. I do realise that it was a close call but if you can pull off the road and walk back to have a look, all the better. Just a bit of advice. Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff, we may not have explained it that well but we both arrived at the narrow creek crossing, on a bend, at the same time. We had nowhere to go except try to plough up the side of the creek bed to avoid a collision. It certainly knocked the wind out of us for a bit 😳
