If you’re in the LA area, and want movers, I’d suggest Excalibur Van Lines. My roommate and I used them in 2020 for our last move. Pretty easy. No damage to our stuff. And they disassembled and reassembled some bed frames and tables. I dunno how they would have been with a lengthy drive, but we had a 40min-drive, and they did the whole move in less than 3 hours for about $350. 😅

10:10 knowing what animals are around you is so important especially if you have small kids or pets. Around where I live (which isn’t in the country by any means however we do have a lot of corn fields & ponds around) we get coyotes, snakes, turtles, frogs, many many birds of prey and even the occasional wild turkey ,anyways we had a new family move in and they had a small dog and a fenced yard they thought it was fine to just let the dog out and not watch it until it was time for it to come back in, the dog ended up missing and we are 98% sure one of the hawks snatched it. Not to mention that turtles, rabbits, frogs and other things sometimes hibernate near homes, in the winter you can always find trails leading to under porches or little burrows dug under gardens or cement

literally a perfect time to post this, I am prepping for a move soon!

I moved 4 times within one year I would recommend using a u-haul box truck for rental I am pretty sure you can return to the closes one to you and is super cheap makes life 10 times easier.
