Throughout history it has always been Muhammad vs Jesus because of Christian/Muslim conflict. Now it is not a question why we believe that this is the true story of Jesus (pbuh) even after 600 years because the witness is Allah (swt)... And it is only natural for Allah (swt) to send a prophet after the other if something went wrong.. And obviously because the people started to worship Jesus (pbuh), the Final Prophet from the lineage of Ismael (pbuh) which is the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was sent with the Quran to correct that concept....
