Where do you think the Chiefs Rank on the all time list of Dynasties?

In six seasons of Mahomes' starting, the FLOOR for KC has been overtime losses in the AFC Championship game. A three-peat would cement the dynasty's legacy, because even if some other team does it in the future, they will have been the first. Furthermore, they will have accomplished it before Mahomes turns 30. Longer term? Only time will tell. But if anyone has an opportunity to replicate NE's long-term status and success, it would be KC.

FOUR. The Chiefs will win FOUR straight super bowls. They haven't lost talent like most teams after winning SB's. They haven't lost coaches like most teams that win SB's. They haven't had significant injuries and the team is actually deeper with more young talent than when they first started winning SB's. The Chiefs are actually a better team now than when Mahomes first went to a SB in 2019. FOUR STRAIGHT SUPER BOWLS.

Good video but you forgot a real important thing, when you talk about the older teams before 1994 they had no salary cap, so in my opinion modern day dynasty is a lot harder.

It’s crazy that it’s already safe to say that half billion dollar contract is already worth it and there’s still over half the contract left.

They are arguably the best dynasty of all time already because of total wins and the salary cap. All of the previous dynasty’s had at least one falloff year and the Chiefs haven’t had one yet. I think that the late Pats dynasty is the only arguable comparison because they went to four in five like the Chiefs and didn’t miss the playoffs. They also had different iterations and still found a way to win. I will say that people calling the Pats run as a 20 year dynasty is false. You can’t go ten years without a bowl win and still be considered a dynasty. They had two separate ones. Both were very different and both were very far apart

If the Chiefs 3-peat having gone 20-0 in 2024 as I'm predicting, while steamrolling everyone they play this season, they will forever be known as the most dominant dynasty in all of sports history. Within the next 5 years the Chiefs, as well as Patrick Mahomes himself will have set many NFL records so far out that will likely never be touched. Their dynasty will cast a serious shadow over all of the prior dynasties.

The 1972 Dolphins were my best team ever. I loved the Steelers, Cowboys, and Raiders of the 1970s but none of those teams were able to achieve what the Dolphins did (I saw these teams in their prime and relish every memory). Brady and the Patriots took down all the records established by these teams, but never achieved the perfect season although coming up one game short was pretty impressive. A 3-peat will give the Chiefs an enduring achievement much like the 1972 Dolphins have with their perfect season.

It the Chiefs win 3 Super Bowls in a row that will be historic, but I think they have a lot more to prove over a lot more years to compare with Brady and the Patriots. I forgot to comment on the 3-peat part the last time around.

I am sort of excited about the season. It is pretty clear that Mahomes is extremely motivated and the team is still very young. They have a great shot.

The Chiefs have nothing on the Patriots at this time and I'm a lifetime Chiefs fan. Brady and Belichick were an unstoppable combo for nearly 2 decades. The Chiefs have a long way to go to even come close to what the Patriots accomplished, which I believe was 6 Super Bowl wins during that time. Do I think the Chiefs have the talent to challenge the Patriot's historic run, yes, but only if the key players like Mahomes, Kelsey and Jones can stay healthy. With Kelsey and Jones nearing the end of their careers, the Chiefs will have to draft or trade for the talent to replace those two future Hall of Famers. AND, I do hope they are somehow able to make football history this year and win third third Super Bowl in a row. GO CHIEFS!!!
