A special nod to Dirty Down when I was ordering some of their stuff off their online store. They were cool to shoot me an email letting me know their products were available at a store local to me and saved me a bunch on shipping. It was really cool of them and I won't forget it :)

Welcome Hatty to the team, looking forward to seeing what changes this might bring to the channel. This effects look great, and I'm a person that has never wanted to paint chipped or damaged models (just love pristine clean paint jobs), so I'm going to try to track them donw in Aus to use for necromunda terrain mostly so well done on selling them :D. The one thing I did wonder when you were talking about taking them off was how they would behave when put over a gloss varnish in the same way you might varnish before using washes or oils.

I wanted to thank you. You and some other KZfaqrs helped me to paint my first minis for my son (I hope to motivate him to do it himself). I really love to do something new, mostly a bit different. And so I started painting my first Space Marine with only a handful of modeling colors, most for WW2 models...but it worked. Now my son has a Salamander and his second mini, a Blood Angel. I even managed to paint "white" without white😁 Thanks for your help!

Great video! Coincidentally I bought the verdigris and moss ones just a week ago, I can't say I got a good effect with the moss (may have been what I was applying it on, these paints like a bit of texture) but the verdigris worked amazingly and on larger pieces can be wiped away with a bit of damp kitchen roll, perfect for large statues and such!
@goblinshut
@goblinshut 2 жыл бұрын
If the effect is more that of a wash than what you see here and very dark in color, 99.99% of the time the paint is not shaken enough. These settle very quickly and are hard to break up. Shake/stir until you can't scrape any goop from the bottom of the pot
