Y’all always think because YOU don’t see something then it must not be happening. *Sigh* While this man is undoubtedly talented, we cannot ignore the awful things he has done and all the children he has fathered and left high and dry because of said talent. My heart goes out to his children because abandonment issues, rejection issues, daddy issues, etc can truly effect a person's mental health and the way they operate in society, in their relationships and how they raise their children.

As a man that takes his role as a father and husband very serious, I agree with you. That said, none of these women required marriage of him except Nicole. None of them were forced to have sex or give birth. They made those decisions on their own. Women need to be held accountable for the choices they make. Michell’le , and the others, got into a relationship with a man she KNEW was reckless with his seed and proceeded to bare his children anyway.

@@Roccofan I completely understand. However, the decision to abort a child I would imagine is a very hard choice and a choice that some don't agree with. Both parties are at fault because pregnancy is always a risk when sexually active. Yet, as a successful wealthy man, he still openly chose not to care or be there.

The point really isnt just about money, its the absence of a man who fathered these children and the psychological damage that it causes. He had the opportunity to put all his children on in the industry. Whether behind the scenes producing, marketing or in the forefront. He had the opportunity to really establish a legacy, generational wealth. I think a lot of men have this pathology or mindset that…they only need to make money for themselves. He definitely is leaving a name for himself; everyone knows “Dr. Dre”….but unfortunately when he leaves this earth….what do his children have? What is he leaving behind, other than trauma and disappointment. Just a thought….

I’m so glad you did this video. So many artist in the industry kisses Dre’s ass because he’s considered a “musical genius” that they just forget he’s a notorious woman beater and a dead beat dad. I was shocked when they picked him to be the headliner for the Super Bowl. After all the allegations he had against him. Which one was recent from Moniece slaughter… how he threatened her and her son just because she told the public he was messing around with Apryl. I have never liked Dre he have such a negative vibe and energy about him. A man that don’t take care of his kids will never be a legend in my eyes. And Michel’le said Dre stopped being there for their child after he married Nicole … Marcel was 6 at that time and Dre didn’t have a relationship with him until Michel’le’s mom & grandmother passed away … Marcel was 25 then. That right there is just sad but yet people still support Dre til this day.

I always find it sad and heartbreaking when a child of a celebrity dies and later on it comes out that said celebrity was not apart of that child’s life. I remember when his son passed and like a day later there were articles saying that Dre was not apart of his life. Same thing for the football player that lost his 2 y.o. son-that he never met-a few years back. Same thing for DL Hugley. I don’t understand it. If it was determined that you are the father, why have you not made the effort to go see this child? Also it’s hard to get and rally behind a man who moves like this. You never know who is going to give you your last drink of water.

It’s a shame that so many men in our community often neglect their children and fail to support them…especially financially. However when you’re an adult your parents are not obligated to take care of you no matter how much $$$ they have. I don't know people's experiences with their father but mine would do anything for me. My dad is not wealthy like Dre but if he was I would be well taken care of. I seen Curtis at the UPS store and he seemed to be a humble, solid, stand up guy! I told him I was from Compton as well so we bonded on that but I could look in his eyes and see the hurt. I went to a private elementary school in LA and Marcel Young was in my class. He was such a sweetheart and very kind. His grandmother would always come pick him up and keep him active with his studies. Thinking back on it, he has so many mannerisms like his dad. Dre has strong genes!

This is especially gross when you take in what is like being homeless or living on minimum rage in a place like Los Angeles. Buying them all one house or two houses right next to each other would have been nothing to him. Giving them each $10k-$50k for some type of education or to invest in a business idea they had. This would have supplied some kind stable situation for his kids and put them on a good path. If you notice it what white families do all the time to get their kids started so they can be successful. It really shows who he is a human being. Edit: I understand that the comparison between Black and White families is unfair for a many of reasons especially concerning wealth. Nobody is saying white people are ideal in any way. The point I was trying to make is if you have the means like Dr Dre, why would you not do for your children? Why would you approach the value, love, parenting, and affection of your children differently(ex: the Black children)? Who would want to watch their children suffer in the same way they did? Why would you not show them patience and understanding? Please do not ignore the obvious difference between treatment. If he wanted nothing to do with his children he could have sat them all down and said it to them outright so there would have not been any confusion. That’s what all his children sound like…very confused.

Well off white families. You have to be clear on that. As a Black person, please stop looking at what the Whites do - that devalues our community and continues to give them the upper hand in America, while keeping us beneath them, which you should know that we’re not. We all have things, we as Black people and a community, have to work on and peeking to see what they’re doing does nothing for us. Andre is wrong, he’s terrible for the things he’s done, but a house comes with responsibility, and he may feel they’re not ready for that commitment. I’m not counting a billionaires pockets. We just don’t know the whole story. At the end of it all, we all have to work to obtain the things we need and want. He needs to make things right by spending time with his kids and teaching them how to fish 🎣 so they too can achieve great things.

I once had a guy tell me "a one night stand or fling having your baby for a man is the same as a woman getting raped and keeping the baby. " Some women can love the child anyway some women can't fathom the thought. He said some guys man up and step up to the plate $ but others walk away easy because they feel absolutely no emotional connection due to No connection with the mother. I remember arguing with him that a fling and rape is not the same. He was making excuses for dead beats. Now that I'm older and watch how men move I agree , men don't connect the same with a baby from a stranger. In most cases the child suffers in the long run watching him love the kids he wanted. I wish women would stand on No Ring No Womb. Stop sleeping with and having children for men who wouldn't push you out the way if a train was coming.

The same parent can take care of grown women and give them a lavish lifestyle but can’t help the kids they created? Those kids didn’t ask to be here .. that’s why so many people struggle as adults because their parents throw them into the world at 18

The Bible says when you don’t take care of your children, you are worst than an infidel. If you helped make all those babies why not help support them. Nicole I believe played a major part in why he does not have any relationships with most of his children. Dre you still have time to change the narrative, and the outcome of your grown children story, please do it while you have a chance. Make it right for all, you have the means and the money. Get your lawyers on that ASAP!
