I wish you’ll come back next year to explore different side of Dubai. It’s understandable that first time tourists tend to explore more the manufactured areas but once get to the old side of Dubai, it’s a different vibe. And for the nature side (i don’t mean the desert), there’s a lot of nice beaches here as well as mountain areas to hike here in,UAE. Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah to name a few. Most 1hr drive from Dubai. Btw, thanks for representing 🇵🇭🏀 and nice meeting during the last game.

The 6 am prayer was actually the call to prayer which happens 5 times a day

@@rademita it happens in all of the Muslim countries as the mosques 🕌 call in Arabic for the 5 daily prayers. It doesn’t really happen in US. People dress more modestly as a respect to the religion of Islam ☪️ 🙂. Also, men wear what’s called a thobe which is a long robe as a long tailored shirt down to the ankles.

Dubai keeps on improving each year, which is good for all citizens, residents and tourists. Let me share one of my stories as a expat living here with my family for almost 20 years.I lost my wallet and my phone in the mall where I work , I then went to the mall’s lost and found section and they have it with them, a staff in the mall found it and handed it to the mall security.

Interesting that you mentioned that you’re only so impressed by man made things. This is exactly how the Vegas strip makes me feel but I’ve never been able to put my finger on it. Appreciate the perspective!

I think there’s also a difference with machine-made vs. human made. Some of the super intricate human-made buildings are mind-boggling. But, machines that make the building are more interesting than the building they made imo.

The Middle East in general doesn’t have professional people and work force,their doctors,nurses,engineers etc are mostly Filipinos,also people working in restaurants and just about anywhere are Filipinos that’s why Dre’s game are like home games,over 10 million OFW are in the Middle East,(Overseas Filipino Workers)

Not much litter coz there’s a fine, jaywalk there’s a fine, everything 😂 But I agree, Dubai is indeed too city. Even us who lived here wanted to travel to see nature. Some people feed stray cats.
