One issue I had faced with Player career mode this year was that the opposing team always has better coordination, defence and organization than my team. (When I play ae my player) My team just keep trying to prioritise my player and try to pass it to him does not matter whether he's covered.

EA doesn’t really care about career mode anymore, they only care about ultimate team

Having completed a Notts County RTG I noticed a few things in my save. Early on, high rated teams were hard to beat which made it feel more like a challenge. Then when I finished I thought why not try the player career and immediately hated it and felt excluded cause EA removed Australia from the national teams. How do you remove a country who made the knockouts of the last world cup and keep random teams like China and Qatar? This is the first time in my memory that the Socceroos or the Matildas aren't in the game. Even then with player career, you can't train your player until gameday and there is no bar abovve the manager to determine how far off you are from the starting 11. What's even the point

Honestly the way things are going they probably changed the cut scenes because they could use it as a selling point to buy the new game. It's always new cut scenes and new animations everyone gets excited about, rather than the actual gameplay.

Fsr u can't choose target club in manager mode I'm doing a journeyman right now and if u end up with a high manager rating u get offers from benfica or Aston villa when u have only spent half a season managing in norway

The truth about career mode is it’s 2023 it could be 50x better than it is if we had people who actually care about the game and are not just in it for the money

I don´t mind if they barely make changes to career mode. I don´t think a lot would improve. My main issue is simply the gameplay. The attacking ai has become basically non existent. Even on a 2 vs 1 counter the other player won´t even run into space.

Not sure if it's a bug or they have removed them completely but the teams that had goal songs at home games when you score. For example celtic fc (zombie nation) if you score a goal at home. Cliche I know but each year career mode has gotten worse and this year with the removal of basic things such as lineups and goal songs makes career mode trash

I notice after the first year of career mode the game starts falling apart more and more as in features start stop working as intended.

The annoying thing is, there’s not benefit to EA making single player any good, if ultimate makes more money than game sales. Until Micro-transactions are banned or removed, I don’t think we will ever get a really decent career mode.

Game devs of this anual realesed games do this a lot: They put some new features in the game, hype them, then remove some of them in the next game and bring them back a year or 2 later as the big new thing. Codemasters do this all the time with their F1 games, in f1 2015 they remove career mode, then they put it back 2016

You need to sign people from around the world and send them to come up with sensible changes to the game, otherwise there won't be any players left who don't play Ultimate

If they want to make money from career mode they should look at what 2k is doing with the NBA. An rpg mode player career will be out of this world and players can buy credits or tokens for upgrades and EA makes more money from both modes.

The truth about it is it’s not good at all. So many bugs on the manager and player career mode. On the player career mode when playing for your international team your clubs team manager and badges pop up in the dressing room at full time 😂 also “ Chelsea beat Scotland” weird titles what have always been in the game. They need to fix all this and is Morocco playable on career mode ? I don’t think it is. The whole game is bugged, some cutscenes on manager career are showing the manager with no body and the glitch is acc so funny. Ea need to fix up and make career mode great again. But unfortunately ultimate team is all they care about…Fc25 it is then…

Mate aren't you experiencing a change in brightness/contrast every time that the ball goes off or after a in game cut scene? Then you press pause and the brightness/contrast goes back to usual?

What did they do to gameplay? Even with sliders its totally unplayable crap. too fast, unrealistic, this is the major issue in this game, horrible gameplay all of a sudden, it was promising a month ago.

EA should be ashamed of themselves for neglecting career mode on player and manager. They need to put the same love they put ultimate team there is just no effort in career mode and player career mode. Bugs in career mode. Invisible players on the pitch scoring goals. Ok, I played fifa since fifa 99, and my lasts modern fifas was 17,18 and 21, and decided to get back to the game because I really enjoyed the 17,18 and 21. I usually liked to play Fifa Career Mode. I played for 10 hours also fifa 23 but not in career and I enjoyed as well. I am shocked how bad is it. And is not bad because of the lineup presentation missing or something. I can easily go on. There are different problems which make the experience worse: 1) Commentary is usually idiotic. I won 8-0(I will go back why I had won 8-0 and why is a problem) the first match and they comment that I had problems in defence last match and that I looked vulnerable. 2) Away game, and I won 5-0. Usually the stadium got emptier and emptier durring the game if the away team have a major advantadge, and they did, bult also many of my fans left as well. 3) Difficulty, if in fifa 21,18 and 17 usually I started with Pro and after that going to World Class and feel that is quite realism, now in World Class I won easily. But if I try legendary, I am definetelly killed by AI. In World Class difficulty I feel that if I manage to score 1-2 goals in first half for sure I will score 5+. Honestly is not fun and real. On Fifa 23 I did not have this problem, I felt that World Class difficulty is challenging enough to get fun, and Professional difficulty is can get still a bit of reality when I want easier game but stil realistic. EA FC24 is bullshit about this and honesty it made the career mode unplayable for me because of this. 4) I played the preaseason tournament: won and played first 2 matches and after that I sim the last match which I won as well. Surprise, after the match I receive a mail that unfortunately we did not won the preseason tournament instead of advanced to semi finals. WTF. 5) The cut scenes for signing a player are repetetive and showed the same no matter what type of player I sign. Is non sense and booring and repetitive. 6) the drill training is much worser than in 21. 7) the coaches addition I feel that it not gives anything positive, is just spam feature 8) GOOD thing: scouting system feels in general better. I cannot say what makes better, but I like it more than in 21. Overall, I started to play Ultimate Team because the athmosphere in the game is much better starting from pre match presentation finishing to customization of the stadium and so on. For me career mode is unplayable. I will try Fifa 23 career mode, hope is not broken like in EA FC24. If it is I will play Fifa 22 Career mode. I am dissapointed about EA FC24 and that I paid 100 euros for EA PLAY PRO for EA FC24. At least I can play FIFA 23 or FIFA 22.
