His videos are quite discouraging. He laughs and makes fun of people who needed to take the Caribbean or European route, smh!
@PremedProductivity

I disagree with your sentiment. I’m explaining the truth about pathways. I do encourage some students to go to the Caribbean under the right circumstances and have multiple students who have taken that path and succeeded. But to say all paths are equally difficult or come with the same opportunities is not accurate. Students need truth, not sugarcoating speak that misleads. I hope you can see that

How come? Majority too medicine schools are in US. Some a few well ranked universities in Europe but US is just one country and Europe is composed by multiple countries. The majority of the most complex new medical procedures are made in us . So based on what can you tell European universities are better?

Bold coming from a country where you can graduate by doing 10 ANKI cards a day. Also, did we forget about Cambridge, Oxford, Karolinska, Bologna, Munich, Sorbona... are all in Europe? And have waaay better curriculum than any American shitty med school?

Dr. Pinesett, my bachelors in science of nursing is from Ameritech College of Nursing. They are nationally accredited and have their CCNE accreditation, but they are not regionally accredited. Do medical schools require your bachelors degree to come from a regionally accredited school? Love your videos, thanks for all of the info!

Hmm...tbh being a doctor in Europe is rather enticing! I've lived in Spain and visited few Euro-countries and the lifestyle is much preferred! Also, i've seen that the doctors there are more hands on. Nurses outside of the U.S. are not as skilled nor as respected. They still know their stuff but there is still the obvious air of being "under" the doctor in other countries. It puts you in mind of the old time thoughts that nurses had to be women, and men doctors with a machismo culture. I say that in comparison to how nurses in the US function at such a high level that often what is needed of a doctor is mostly their signature (depending upon situation of course this is general). I suppose the entire point of this comment was to advocate for travel and living a globalized life if you've considered it. If you don't have to stay in the U.S. and you aren't the perfect candidate for a US Med School, there is an entire world to see and lives to save all over.

Thank you for this comment. I am a US citizen and I really have a deep desire to get a more globalized experience pertaining to medicine . I feel it will make me a better and more well rounded physician.

Do you have any connects on information that can explain to me how to get into medical school in Europe (Spain specifically). I want to expand on my BA Spanish Lit, Lang, & Culture. I am not aiming to practice in the United States.

Sorry I didn’t address that. I know there are some US citizens who want to practice abroad, but majority want to practice in US so I focused on that. I will be sure to add a video soon about options if you want to practice abroad. But in short, European med school can be a good option for that.

He went to Stanford. You think that isn't world class? If you do, you're wrong. Also, the system is different; we have people enter after college, then do a doctorate degree in medicine. Then, they do a residency of up to 9 years. Then, fellowship, etc. etc. I would have complete faith in my physician or surgeon from the States or any E.U. program.
