I remember reading the book of Revelation in junior high school back in 85’, it literally scared the hell out me and I gave my life to Christ eventually when I joined the army after graduation from high school.

No fear at all…….just the realization of the consequences from living in sin that every one WILL experience no matter who you are, your last breath on earth will be your first breath in eternity and there’s only 2 places it’ll be when it’s all said and done…….heaven or hell. On the day of the Great White Throne Judgement 2 books will be opened……the book of life and the book of the dead, if you died without confessing your sins and giving your life to Jesus Christ by saying the prayer of salvation your name will not be the book of life and you’ll be cast into the lake of fire and will be tormented for all eternity where there will weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I grew up in southwestern Virginia in a small church that preached fire and brimstone. I loved hearing the truth...and nothing but the truth. This was in the 60's. I don't hear preaching much like this anymore. Thank you for the lessons and readings.

As a 63 year old man that has been a believer since 1979 I'd like to say that the great apostle Paul never mentioned "hell" as a warning during the 30+ years of his ministry. Why? Rom.5.18,19; 11:32,36; Phil.2:8-11; Col 1:20; 1 Tim.4:10. Stop all Plutonic garbage !

I was brought up united pentecostal. My uncle is a united pentecostal preacher...and I have never heard anything like this from him ....thank you sir 🙏 🙌 👏

The one thing I remember about United Pentecostles was their teaching, if you didn't get filled with the holy Ghost and speak in tongues you would be cast into the lake of fire. I got out of that church as fast as I could

Satan has a hold on the people in these Days. We are definitely in the End of Days. I woke up to seeing the real world in 2019. Now I see how quickly we are here. I see a world that’s changed so much in a short time that I’m shocked. Evil is everywhere in all areas of our lives in your face passing laws to validate sin and good has become bad and bad has become good. Here we are where many people still deny we are living like in the Days of Noah. Be ready! It is written.

he said the rich man and Lazaris were fictional men in a factual situation but Jesus described the rich man as a "certain " man which implies a factual man who actually existed; so what is fictional about him ?

I just finished reading through revelations last night. One nugget I noticed it said was that the darkness itself was so dark that it was painful. I thought that interesting. I haven’t read it in a while so I just read it through. I’m going back to read it again and study more thoroughly. I believe things are in motion and events are taking place faster in time and more intense in severity in a global sense. Like birth pangs. Be prepared. We have the promise that a new heaven and a new Israel will come down from God. There will be no need for the sun and moon for light because God will be the light. Stay strong. It is worth it. Thanks for this message.

The moon doesn't provide light only stars like our own sun does. The moon reflects light from the sun but it doesn't produce it.

Very interesting darkness thing. I would argue that the verse about no sun and moon is figurative, as there would be no shadows in heaven which would be disorienting and quite visually ugly. Not to mention that the whole book of Revelations is a figurative vision. (unless you take the monsters coming out of the sea literally idk)

Mens hearts will fail them for what is coming up on the earth . God and His word are real ,!!!! Jesus said that some are snakes and vipers , so yes their are reptilians that live among us. Believe it or not ,Jesus did not mince words. Most churches and pastors wont touch this subject for fear of ridicule .

@@chiricahuaapache5132 it’s quite chilling, no pun intended. You say “suspended” as if God purposefully keeps you alive. My belief is that our lives our ended, and that the outer darkness is death; non existence. Arguably the darkest dark possible

If your not praying that prayer at the time of your bodily death you still aren't getting into heaven. We are born in sin we live in sin and we die in sin so as soon as your done praying your living in sin again and according to the Bible no one in sin will enter the kingdom of heaven

I accepted Jesus at 15 year. I was sprinkled as an infant. That was so my parents dedicated at that time to God. I have been since baptized the way John baptized Jesus. But no pastor has ever explained this so well as you do Pastor Nolan.✝️🛐🕊️

Paul - there is no place as hell - hell-fire is a fire that annihilates the sinner - and in that process he is punished for his sins...God is love and love does not torutre for eternity-- as there is no limbo or purgatory....and the 7th day Sabbath is not Sunday - these teachings come from the dark ages - RCC

Acts 20 says ( also ) that some will deviate from the faith and draw disciples after Themselves ". Which is what these paid pastors do it seems. Paul was a tent maker,so was aquila.. Jesus was a carpenter..some were fishermen

It fascinates me how Christians can't agree on what hell is. Seems that God didn't communicate things well enough. Or it's all a work of fiction. I vote for fiction.

I was not raised going to church, by the time I was a teenager I did not believe in God. I started watching different prophets and was very encouraged and knew God was real. Then I found your ministry and I'm so thankful to learn the bible. You do a great job teaching it. You explain everything in a way we can all understand , I just want to thank you!

I only wish there were other pastors who gave us all the untampered word of God and the analogies and descriptive breakdowns that you do Pastor Allen. You remove the barrier for those who have a tough time deciphering what the Lord means in his scripture and parables and we thank you for the effort that you put forth to do so. I was raised in a strict southern Baptist home ,went astray ,found myself living in Nashville in a homeless shelter. Different preachers came every night and day to preach to the men who lived there . When a Pentecostal preacher came one night I heard God for first time in years . I was wrong in my beliefs . Today I’m not a baptist or Methodist nor catholic. I’m a Christian who is going to heaven ! Pastor Nolan is the real deal!!! He preaches the Bible . That is what matters

When someone says that there is no hell , they are saying that there is no consequnce to their actions .

How did one come up with such a conclusion, if I might query? Even Jesus ended up in hell (Acts 2:27). Was it because of any consequence of sin? Hell is just the KJV's word for the GRAVE. Check out various translations of the cited scripture.

There's thousands of examples of people getting away with nefarious actions without consequences more than likely due to not getting caught, the main thing hear is good vs evil and its obvious evil is right here all around us so as for hell I wouldn't disagree that when the Bible was written society at the time was probably as evil as ever so hell was written in as a sort of scare tactic being it's the last thing you read in the Bible and it worked until people became smarter and figured it out

So this life is not tough enough with out eternal punishment's for a finite existence. The whole concept is immoral. The Romans invented Christianity, cobbling it together from the ancient Hebrew texts to in-order to deal with a rebellious populous. They expanded the hell / enteral punishment's theme & the existence of the devil way beyond the ordinal Hebrew concepts as a populace control.

No they are not. They are simply saying there is no hell. If you choose to interpret it and contort it that is your prerogative. However as it stands to me, a consequence is something that may or may not (depending on your luck!) be dealt with within your lifetime. Your point is akin to the preposterous notion by the deluded that without 'god' we have no morals.

I am able to listen to you and follow along and keep up. I struggle with attention. I find it comforting that you get words hung up coming out of your mouth sometimes. You stumble over getting syllables to sound like words and you keep on going. Your emotions when you read the word move me to tears when I hear the crack in your voice❤️💙💚🛐🇮🇱 you teach what needs to be taught and I’m grateful I found this channel. You are humble and kind and loving and fun and serious in your teaching style. I get hung up on words coming out of my mouth all the time . Your brain is so amazing. GOD DOES NOT BURN HUMANS FOR TRILLIONS OF YEARS. THE UNSAVED ARE RESURRECTED AT THE TIME THE NEW JERUSALEM COMES DOWN FROM HEAVEN. THEN THECEVIL ARE RESURRECTED AND BURNED WITH SATAN. I pray that God helps me welcome Jesus Christ and his spirit in their hearts that they too may be saved. a life of sin unrepented leads to death, God is true

I'm in a horrible place I accepted Jesus and really believed in Him 6 years ago at least I think I did but I'm so messed up about what's true and what isn't I've not read my Bible hardly at all in 2+ years and I don't have a relationship with God I want to know and love God but sin confusion and other stuff keeps getting in the way I'm stuck no idea what to do 🙁

It begins with an earnest study of the Bible. beginning with the fundamental questions, such as: Who is God? What is His name? The Bible is not hard to understand, but it does require humility and a willingness to believe it over traditions and teachings of men.

@Mike Hill Something that has made me feel closer to God in the past is reading the Bible alone and taking notes. Even taking notes on ceremonies and actually paying attention to the ‘begets’ sections has made me feel closer to God. Listening to sermons is great and helpful, but if you never independently read the Bible, you won’t really connect with the sermons and you’ll also feel generally lost, hopeless, and empty. Read the big aloud when you can during your readings too. Good luck!

I had a cousin who died a Jehovah Witness. I discussed with her, before she died from cancer, not to follow them. She declined. She passed on from the disease, in blasphemy. I had a dream about her years later, begging to get out of hell.

I know you are sincere but you are not familiar enough with scripture to know the truth...God is love - love may punish but never torture and especially for eternity - if that were true then Hitler was a misunderstood saint. Hell is based on the word Gehenna and that referred to the garbage dump of Jerusalem where the carcasses of animals were thrown...so either the fire consumed you or when the fire went out the worms or maggots would devour you---so hell fire is a place where the fire consumes you as stated in Isa. 66.24 ...Eze.28: 18-19 says that satan will be consumed by fire and be no more KJV..MAl. 4:1-3 says the same regarding the wicked as does PSalm 37.20....do yourself and educated favor and read the book the fire that consumes by William Edward Fudge as he addresses the challenging scriptures that speak of hell -- what is eternal are the consequences of hell fire but not the fire ---in Jer. 17:27 it says that gates of Jerusalem would burn with unquenchable fire but they are not burning today for unquenchable means the fire will not be put out until the object in the fire is consumed and turned to ashes - and unquencahble fire is what the wicked endure in Mt. 3:12 but it will go out once they are consumed...So sad, you are sincere but not educated in scripture and thereby turn people off God as a monster and some people commit suicide - others live a life of deep anxiety and insanity...Jesus said love your enemies so when did he change his mind about that - as I said - read the book. I could give you more examples if you'd like.

Dennis, no pastor can save you. The Bible clearly teaches in order to go to heaven you mush be Born Again. That entails believing in the sinless life, substitutionary death, burial and resurrection of Yahshua (real Hebrew name of Jesus Christ). This is the only payment for our sins and the ONLY way to go to heaven and not hell. We also must repent. Repenting is acknowledging we are sinners, and turning from that sin. Unless we believe and repent, we are doomed to be in hell forever in agony. Being born again is believing that Yahshua has been sent from the father (Yahweh) and is the only sacrifice for sins. The father sent the son to die to redeem all those who 1. Believe and 2. Repent. Believe and repent. Get a bible and read the new testament to see exactly how the bible agrees with this in entirety.

I see comments from two years ago and then some from just a few days ago … I’m here cause well I’m supposed to be apparently . But I think it’s exciting to see how your sermons are helping so many ppl and have been for a long time now . Can’t wait to get them this , I’m already enjoying the sermon and learning already . I have struggled with letting go of the belief that hell and heaven is what the Bible really means . I was so deeply rooted in my former beliefs with Wiccan and into yoga and Buddhism and well I’ve been a Christian for about five yrs now and it took two years after baptism for me to receive gods Holy Spirit . I can see now why it took so long and why it had to be hard and humiliating , but talk about humbleness and peace , god is so gracious , i don’t think ile ever feel like I deserve his forgiveness and love .

It said a servant could stay with his master when his ear is stuck to a door forever..........Is there an Israelite still stuck to a door? It would be quite a tourist attraction but eternal when writen in king james times.....meant a certain period of time.

But was it the truth? Jesus also ended up in hell when he died (Acts 2:27). It is the KJV's word for the GRAVE. A state of nonexistence. That is why God has purposed resurrections for the dead (Acts 24:15).

your sermon was wonderful. I am a lost soul who reflects on God and the lord on a daily basis but still feel lost and hopeless. My mind is an angry place and I feel alone and abandoned. I know that all good things come from God and all bad things come from Satan. I pray for forgiveness and know that my heart does not want to live this way. I seek peace and seem I cant find it. I try to think of what I am doing wrong and there are moments when I realize I dont reflect on the blessings God has given me. A good job, the ability to take care of myself, the very world and its beauty we live in. Im ashamed at the fact I cant control how angry my thoughts are all of the time, and I know I would never hurt anyone other than myself...mentally but not physically and at times Im ashamed to ask Gods forgiveness because I keep doing the same things wrong over and over. So I pray I find the Lord before I die and I hope for the best. I Isolate myself because I have learned not to trust people and have thought that if I move to a cabin in the woods maybe I can reflect more on the Lord and I can find him that way but Im not certain. Pray for me and my pursuit of salvation. I know that true peace only comes from having the Lord in ones life. Thank you.

It's good to examine your heart daily! Paul said it's good to die daily. We sin daily but we must repent daily. It's not a sin to be tempted but it is to allow temptation to cause you to sin. Your thoughts of anger comes from things you know you havent wiped clean from your life. Serve others, give more, volunteer your time and you will redeem time. God Bless.

Slade----- our first need as a person is to find God and make peace with him...We find God by reading his word and prayer...but it is all a matter of faith - you believe the Gospel and in believing you become a Christian - so Christ lived a perfect life for you - so he is your substitute for righteousness and he died a perfect death for you so all your past present and future sins are atoned for and he has wiped out your guilt and punishment - there is a quote that says - the fact that you are trying to be right with God is evidence that you have rejected the atonement... so the Gospel is that God loves you - created you - became your substitute for righteousness and and paid the penalty for your transgressions...go talk to a pastor at a church - try the SDA church..

My closeness to the Lord is from music I listen to. I don't attend any churches (I have) but not anymore.. I felt as if they were speaking a hole different Language to me. I would walk out of church knowing the samething that I came in with (very little). But listening to you Pastor Nolan, I understood start to finish what you were saying. And you explaining In more depth so we could understand was great. And when I received my answer to the question I've been wondering for so long I felt such relief that I just started crying. @@JohnAnderson-ss9vn It is an awful place, but if it's not real, sScripture is false. Why hell? The universe is perfect in a way you can't imagine. The precision behind all of life parallels the holiness of God. Years ago, at West Point, I learned of the catastrophe and death that could result from one lie. What is justice but full responsibility for all you've done and the consequences thereof. Hell makes sense, when one integrates these concepts, a place where you suffer to the extent that all of the full consequences of your sins warrant, not simply the immediate consequences but all of them over time.
