When I break it down Jake is a huge underdog in this fight. He’ll get beat. JJ will beat Wassabi, then all of a sudden Jake KSI becomes way more interesting to most people. (Similar to Canelo GGG seeming much more competitive after the Bivol lose) Finally Jake’s fighting someone his own size who can throw a jab, if he’s anywhere near the same level as he was at the Woodley fight Jake’s getting drowned in that ring.

When you look at Jr he's perfect for Jake, he has to cut weight eating into his boxing camp, espcially as he loses 25% pay for every pound he is over the limit (which is ridiculously high cut). He keeps his hands low, so even Jakes telegraphed punches might get a glancing blow. He gasses really quickly just like Jake. He has a 44% knockout ratio which is low in general let alone heavyweight meaning Jake is less likely to have an embarrassing loss. Edit : this is not an excuse, I think Jake will lose it's just less likely to be embarrassing and yes rehydration clauses exist but 25% per pound is unheard of and unbelievably high.

No cap, Hasim is a different breed compared to all of the previous fighters that Jake has met. This man is a legit boxer. Sure Hasim's previous record wasnt looking that bright that's because he wasn't even putting in the real work into it and he admitted that. Based on % wise, I say Hasim winning rate is about 70-80%. The only chance Jake can win is either his skill level exploded since the Woodley's fight OR a sheer of luck through his power punch. I dont believe Jake can bribe Hasim so yeah, if both going all out, Hasim is very likely to win.

(Interesting question/possible video topic) Hey Viddal I do have a question for you on in general when you become a higher level sports athlete on why you would not compete with someone you know well. I ask this for two reasons, firstly when I wrestled throughout school It was actually seen semi regularly that you would compete against your teamates when entering tournaments at multiple people per weight class. Two, you talk about fights making sense. If theoretically jj did beat jake down the line and was planning on leaving boxing. Would it not be a fantastic way to put a close on the youtube boxing scene for the student to finally take on the teacher, win or lose he would only get support from that fight. And as well assuming you won, it would only benefit your career and leave off with a solid pay day for the both of you? It would be interesting, it would be exciting, it would benefit both parties, it at least appears to me from an outsider that this would be a win on all fronts.
