Honestly I thought the same about my life. Untill I relised that I chose to see it that way. I kept thinking about it and reminding myself about all where I was dealing with, and all what blocked me to have all what I wanted. But I learned that the mind actually works quite simple.. where we point our attention to is what we see and experience. The most joyful and free experiences got buried under reminders of how bad my life was, and even guilt, that I shouldnt feel happy because of this or that. That is why I forgot the joy, because I reminded myself of the worse. If you would remind yourself of the joy in moments of negativity, this would be the exact same result, the negative experience would be buried under a layer of joy. And therefor the bad isn't experienced as bad anymore. That we experience life as 90% horrible, is by choice, to want to see it that way. When you just acknowledge to yourself that this is exactly want you want to see, the struggle lifts. Because we dont struggle with changing it, we struggle to see that we subconsciously want to keep it this way. When you do that, just acknowledge this wish to live this way, show love to this part of yourself, than positive can come in. Because you showed yourself and the universe that you accept it to be here right now. Instead of sending out conflicting energies, desire and rejection. You acknowledge your wishes which make you send out exactly what is needed to attract that positive karma into your life.
