In my experience as a white person in SA, there is little to no racism in the streets. The problem is the government and the media. The media exaggerates racism and disharmony. SA can be saved, but then we should not leave. We have to stay and help fix this country. It has been done many times (look at Ireland) it will be difficult, but it can be done.

I can see it slowly declining... According to the World Bank they’re constantly on the verge of collapse they got out of one prolonged recession after the country gained independence under Mandela and are now slowly relapsing for a much longer period of time in GDP per capita, and literacy rates have fallen, and the EFF proto-communists echoes of Zimbabwe which the EFF sings and chants about ending white people have gained seats. And this isn't from someone that only looks at the bad, I see people like Mwai Kibaki, Quette Masire, and Paul Kagame, and some copy pasta from a previous post about merely two "The heroes of Africa that are dark skinned are Kenya’s Mwai Kibaki, Whom was a very soft-spoken, closed off, but passionate on the governmental floor, classical liberal economist (conservative politically by American standards), and Paul Kagame I was hoping to turn Rwanda into the next Singapore (also to the farthest right of economics). To give you an idea of what these people are like Kibaki came after predecessors that like to make cults of personality must like the Democrats in the US do, and completely broke the trend and never tried to control media into thinking that he was The next greatest thing given to the country, he got flack for it, Kagami is a pro-industrialist that forces you to work for a month or two on garbage collection if you litter." All these people and those closest to them in their party were economic technocrats, some or all of them never attempting to build cults of personality. Even if statistically true, as a percentage of farmers and total workhands, most likely farmers are at greater risk, your talking about people that have to produce enough food on large plots of land at economically competitive rates per price of tax on land, upkeep on machinery, need for constant improvement, upgrading and expansion, which typically means taking out a mortgage on the farm again to improve as fast relative to others so that valuation of land does not lower profits, relative to all the farmhands they employ, which need the money and likely have few other skills or the inclination to learn them as a privateer frontiersman.

@Brad Sanchez Two grouos in the UN. Those that were jealous about South Africa's success, as later confirmed by the Human Development Index as published by the same United Nations.( South Africa was Africas leading nation on the HDI rankings) The second group consisted of those who wanted to hide their atrocities to their own people by pointing fingers at South Africa, such as the communists who's ideology has killed more than 100 million people.

Pretty good and accurate evaluation because he was able to compare for one and two, he has reason to be unbiased and to have observed and learned with integrity because of specific interest to educate himself about South Africa by living for a substantial period in time in SouthAfrica amoungst South Africans. His opinions are not influenced by politics and racial prejudices like is the case with simply everyone else wanting to talk about South Africa and life in it these days. To them all... please now shut up because you're unqualified to have an opinion worthy of consideration.
