Hey Rachel…. To add to your brushing teeth thing, you’re NOT supposed to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth, so the fluoride in the toothpaste can stick to your teeth and protect them

You are absolutely correct. I was talking to one of my neighbors who I don’t know how to explain it. He basically helps come up with the chemical compounds for different types of toothpaste, and he specifically said, even if it says to rinse after don’t rinse to leave it spit out all the excess and go and do not rinse your mouth or drink anything for 15 minutes after brushing your teeth and if you need to get that flavor out of your mouth wait 15 minutes then gently rinse your mouth with a little bit of water to keep the fluoride on your teeth that’s the whole point of it being in your toothpaste

Omg that toothpaste comment was me!😂❤️ I feel like I accomplished something I’ve been wanting to accomplish for years lolol. I don’t actually care as much as Abbie thinks I do hahaha I was just shocked that you feel so passionately about DOING IT when I’ve never known anyone personally who does😅and I’m like Rachel who gets passionate about little things like this😂also the crying emoji was just my personality coming out not actual anger or sadness over it lol. Also, I’m not single haha my boyfriend also doesn’t brush his teeth first😅

A comment on the tipping: The establishments need to be paying the wages of their employees, not the customers. When you are tipping, the employer is able to pay their employees a lower base wage. It’s messed up and the big guys get to make more money and have us pay their workers.

To clarify: I mean tipping at places like subway. I’ve even been asked to tip at boutiques! Always tip your servers. I just think it’s ridiculous how greedy these companies are.
@laurenseidel
@laurenseidel 4 ай бұрын
Well and I wonder if the subway that had the lower prices was also the one asking her to tip. Like the other place is raising sandwich prices to pay something closer to fair wage and the lower priced one is relying on customer tips to make up for worse wages.

If the person who commented about the teeth brushing sees this, I’m sorry Abby said that. Why did she feel the need to say you’re single and don’t care about hygiene? You have the right to comment about something. I know she’s standing up for Rachel, but there was no need in the first place. Some people brush and some don’t.. I think it’s more on the fact that your breath smells in the morning.. I’ve thought it was strange that people brush right away. But I don’t judge and say rude things about it… everyone’s different.

I don’t brush my teeth first thing, I eat and drink coffee first then brush my teeth as part of getting ready! It really does for me effect then taste of my food and drinks. You aren’t meant to rinse with water after brushing your teeth, fluoride continues to work after your dose brushing that’s the whole point of fluoride. If I’m skipping coffee and breakfast that morning of course I’ll brush!

I throughout school was undiagnosed with dyslexia, I am diagnosed now in my 40s, I am female. All through school I kept telling my teachers, parents & doctors something was wrong & I'd explain what was wrong. I wish that I had doctors that listened to me but because I was a teenager I was just hormonal & need to take things in life with a grain of salt. Maybe this is why I hate doctors to this day! THANK GOD I found a doctor who listens to me now as an adult. I Googled dyslexia, Studies have shown that dyslexia is more common among boys than girls, with some estimates suggesting that it affects up to twice as many boys as girls. However, some researchers believe that this discrepancy may be due in part to the fact that girls are often underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed with dyslexia.

In my country, as many others, tipping is 100% optional, since the restaurant already charges for it, and also they pay a fair salary to their employees. Obviously is not the greatest, but the responsibility falls in the employer, not the consumer.

About the teeth brushing you actually are supposed to brush first thing in the morning because bacteria in your mouth multiply while you sleep and if you brush before eating it will help protect your teeth . I use to always wait until after I finished eating but I’m a dental assistant now and have been taught it’s the best to brush first. Do I always do it no lol

Rinsing after brushing isn’t great you should let the fluoride sit unless your going to floss straight away using the left over toothpaste essence , I then personally use mouthwash after cleaning my tongue. I’ve never rinsed with water until I got my water flosser which I now use last so in order to Brushing, flossing normally , clean tongue with tongue brush , mouthwash and then water flosser.

I’m 16 years old and I’m dyslexic I have been diagnosed since I was 7 and my mum kept asking my teachers since I was in primary 2. my sisters name is saliah and I still have trouble spelling her name it’s not about being lazy it’s just how my brain works. The autocorrect thing my spelling and grammar is terrible and most of the time when I try and spell a word even autocorrect doesn’t know what I am trying to say. I spell phonetically it’s how my brain has always worked and certain words are really difficult to say and spell. Reading has also been a challenge ever since I was young and still is. For me it’s not about letters being 3D or moving it’s more how it takes so long to read a sentence and I don’t take it in also I skip words and lines and have to reread things many times. And reading out loud is probably the worst thing you could get me to do as I am prone to stuttering a lot and it is really embarrassing. So it’s not about being lazy my brain just works differently to others :)

I agree with the tipping thing, I will tip at regular restaurants, but not fast food or like a coffee shop. I've worked at a restaurant and know what it's like to not get tipped, but they get tipped because they don't make minimum wage, their income is supplemented with tips. Fast food employees make minimum wage or more.

Living in Ohio, my opinion is the cost of life has gone up because people minimum wage to be $15 but don't understand that by raising minimum that high it is NOT just minimum wage going up.......everything else has to go up to afford the $15 minimum wage. I think we need DEFLATION but there are too many greedy people out there to let deflation work. It is pitiful that before the lock down fast food had $1 menus (yes they were going out but they were there) and now you can barely find ANYTHING for at least $1 at a fast food place.

@LM-mr3fd
@LM-mr3fd 4 ай бұрын
Nothing wrong with enjoying the taste of raw onions. I don't think that Abbie really considered the fact that we don't all taste things in the same way. Taste buds (i.e. the amount and the sensitivity) vary across individuals. Like many things, tasting can be seen as a spectrum with non-tasters (those who find many foods to be bland due to having relatively fewer taste buds) on one end, supertasters (those who perceive tastes more strongly due to having relatively more taste buds) at the other end, and average tasters in between. It is totally plausible that North West's sense of taste leans more towards the non-taster end of the spectrum OR she might just really like the flavour of raw onion to the degree that she is willing to eat an onion like an apple. Either way, there is nothing wrong with enjoying the taste of raw onions just like there is nothing wrong with NOT enjoying the taste of raw onions. Individual people have individual tastes...quite literally! 😃

Wait staff at restaurants do not get paid minimum wage. Their pay is less than minimum because it is expected that they will be tipped enough to make up the difference. They also do not get the full tip you give, because it is expected that they tip the host or hostess as well as the bar and the bussers. I believe they pay out between 3 and 5% to other staff and then they are taxed on their tips as well because it is claimable income and most restaurants keep track for them.

I’m all for tipping people, but I’m extremely leery of companies adding tip to their computer systems. I’ve never thought about tipping a subway employee as their service is to make a sandwich. How much of that tip goes to the employee, how much if it goes to the business?? In a situation like at subway, I think I’d rather hand them cash than put it in the machine. BUT ALSO, all these places are unwilling to pay their employees more.

1) You're not supposed to rinse your mouth with water after brushing - you're just supposed to spit out the toothpaste 2) Some toothpaste/mouthwashes have lingering flavours. I have a mouthwash that my dentist told me to use and it ruins the taste of everything for a few hours after. Needless to say, I've used it maybe 2 or 3 times ever. It's awful. 3) Women need more education and more experience to be seen as being at the same level as mediocre men - there's a higher standard for them. To me, that may be why you've noticed more men than women who don't write properly.
