When Jake Paul first started, I could have beaten him. I was big into MMA and loved boxing. But if I had taken on Jake Paul of today, I'd take a beating. He's not the same person he was. Tyson is terrifying. But he's not the person he once was either. Regardless, they'd both kick my ass now. Best of luck to them both. I hope nobody gets hurt or embarassed.

I can understand why Mike Tyson would want to do the fight. He can prove that he´s still got it and that some youtuber isn´t going to beat him. On the other hand I think it´s absolutely nuts that Jake Paul wants to fight him. Best case scenario he beats an old grandpa who hasn´t boxed in 25 years. And god yes i replied. Theres something really exhilarating about having somene sink a leg kick into your thigh and it FUCKING hurts but youre like OOOOO GIVE IT TO ME GIVE IT TO ME and you just want the bruise and the pain and its a point of pride. Tony Jeffries gives a real fighter, a real man's perspective. It's a "let's everyone calm down and look at this carefully." Physically, I believe Mike Tyson is going to break Jake Pauls' ribs ... Paul doens't have the midsection for Tyson's punches. However, Tony Jeffries has a great counter argument: "reaction time to punches." That sort of perspective only come from an experienced fighter of any level, a good fighter does not need awards or mental. Very good video. However, the numbers are so close in terms of youth versus experience, the questions of reaction time and punch absorption, almost have to be answered in real combat. This is gonna be a learning experience for everyone involved, i'd like to hear this side of the ring. Subbed long ago for peekaboo clips and cleared a few for new channels but i'm subbed for this fight. Thumbs up.

The thing is, those videos of Tyson are from when he was training for the Roy Jones Jr fight 4 years ago. And Tyson later went onto Rogan's podcast he said that when he did that training he couldn't move for a week. Giving Mike Tyson just 3 months to train after 20 years is an absolute JOKE!! If Jake Paul wanted to be taken seriously with a Tyson fight he should have given him 6 months to drop weight, sharpen his reflexes and shake off some ring rust through training. 3 months is not enough, he'll probably spend the whole time just losing weight. On top of that, it doesn't do ANYTHING for Jake Paul if he beats a 58 year old, out of shape, rusty, inactive Mike Tyson when he's 30 years younger than him

@@brandonbaty2291 The one Paul said was sent to him is the old video from when he was training for Jones. There's a newer video. I don't see age as being the biggest deciding factor here, not even close. Jake Paul has 2 moves and he telegraphs them. Tyson will see his jab coming from three days ago and feed him his left hook, and that's a short night out for Mike.

All over social media, people seem to think that a 20 year old mike tyson is showing up. They don't even watch boxing, nor follow his career. He was losing to journeymen in the 90's. He was never known for cardio and Jake plays the range game and a now even slower Tyson has to still use the same inside fighting peakaboo style and chase him. All Jake is going to do is circle and pop jabs until round 3-4 and then walk an exhausted Tyson down. It's going to be sad and the people that think Tyson is going to obliterate Jake, will say it's fixed. They have zero clue and it's infuriating.

Is it possible for your opponent to start timing you based on your audible exhales? For instance if you exhale too soon and it becomes a tell of some type? Does this happen in amateur/olympic and/or professional boxing?

Power is what Mike was always known for, and it's the last thing to go with age. Tyson knows he won't be able to react and defend so he'll have to go on an all out assault from the start and not give Jake any time or space to control the ring. If he opens up with a flurry of power punches it'll rattle the inexperienced Jake, or depending on how much of the prime Mike Tyson is left he could even knock him out with those muscle memory combos in the first round or two. No one in this generation has seen a fighter like Mike. They don't make them like him anymore. An old Lion is still a Lion.

Which of these variables benefits Tyson (I would think larger ring although Iron Mike hardly ever backed up), and which one benefits Paul. I think Tyson doesn't understand that with his podcasts and interviews and insights he's morphed into an articulate kind of poet/warrior who can describe what life was like being the most feared dude on the planet. He might still think he has to live up to being what his 20 year old self was. He might not realize that everything changes and people respect him a whole other way now, more for his words and less for fighting skills.

Paul wouldn't even dream of trying to fight a Tyson from 25 years ago. I just find this whole thing really sad, i wish Mike had turned this down with a "go away kid" smile, and retained some dignity. Only two outcomes are possible: If Paul wins, he will instantly become one of the most hated people alive, with a lot of pro boxers wanting to smash the larry out of him. If Tyson wins, then it's win win . Either way, it's not something i can bring myself to watch. What a sad state of affairs.

Does he have the endurance and how well can he take a punch now? Hate to say it but my faith in current day Tyson is not what it was long ago. However if Tyson’s punches are still powerful, then maybe one well-landed punch in the early rounds might just give Tyson the win. A lot ifs there. Spot on analysis Tony as an ex amateur youth boxer I stopped at 18 not worth the risk to the brain and every fighter sees stars every fight and gets the ear ringing and no matter how good you are that damage ages your brain. Having said that although Tyson is 58 if anyone at 58 could knock an opponent out in 30 seconds it is Tyson. He won't be looking for a long fight. Jake Paul might be younger but as you said MT is one of the best HW's of all time. I also think Tyson might have been inspired by his namesake Tyson Fury in using the fight to clean up his bad habits. I reckon Tyson will be in amazing shape by July and do it in the first round. This fight will upset Jake Paul's boxing career unless the fight is rigged which happens a lot in boxing.

Are you Irish by any chance ? Watching Nogla and Terroriser videos enhanced my irish senses. (Im not Irish btw)

I reckon 99% of people will watch just in the hope of seeing Jake Paul knocked out BUT it will be a scripted scam....only hope is if Tyson goes off script and opens up

For 20 million? I'm 5ft 6 I weigh 150. I'm not trained at all. I'd fight either one for that much money. I'll get my ass beat and I'll have 20 million.

Nice, and then you spend 20 million to be able to walk again

@benfrese3573 no I don't think so because as soon as one fighter is unable to continue the fight the ref blows the whistle. They aren't going to beat on your unconscious body Especially with boxing rules. I'd likely just come out of it with a headache. Pretty tame considering what MMA fighters put their body through to make money.

@@jasonmartell7112 It all depends really, if you get hit by someone like Tyson in his prime even once, chances of irreparable damages are likely. Especially if you are untrained. People were killed in professional boxing machtes.

Mike Tyson was and still is a boxing legend! I am wondering if he still has the discipline needed to train for a fight. Just a thought.

It's exactly as you've said in the video, Tyson is no longer a fighter, it's not physical only but also he's changed mentally. Of course he has absolutely nothing to prove, but also I think the anger and the ego are gone, and that's what powered him as a younger man. Now he's introspective and enjoys smoking weed and taking mushrooms, talking about philosophy, and basking in the general love he gets from the public. And he deserves to relax and enjoy himself. I don't think he should fight Jake Paul.
