You’re making me cry right now 😭 I’m so glad you are feeling better. My 17yr old daughter has a eating disorder and suffering daily for years. She has been in therapy and doing a little better but every meal is still a struggle. Her body dysmorphia is even worse. As her mom, I can’t tell you how heartbreaking it is to watch her struggle. I don’t remember the last time she actually would eat her birthday cake. I pray every single day for her that she will love herself as much as she loves others. Her heart is so big I hope she makes room for herself in it. Prayers for you to keep your strength and love, as you are clearly as beautiful inside as you are outside. 💕

Talk to her about what she wants in life. Make it a personal reason to overcome this issue. Right now, she is trying to change because that's what she is told she needs to do, but may not understand why. Mine affected my heart and made it tough to play sports later one like I wanted to. If I had known about that, that would have helped me. She needs to know how to own her daily unhealthy decisions so she can own her life.

When you said “Look at a scar as if it’s something you survived from.” That hit home, I have an almost 12 inch scar across my abdomen above my belly button. I’ve had three surgeries over that scar. Here’s some background: I was born four months early, and came into this world only weighing 1 pound and 12 ounces. That scar is an acknowledgement of my strength, of how much i fought to be apart of this world. It’s not exactly the prettiest thing, but it is something I do need to start being proud of. It’s something to be admired, acknowledged, appreciated, and something to love about myself because it will always be a part of my story. I appreciate your honesty, quite frankly I’m tired of a lot of the filter bullshit we all see online, and it’s nice to see a change of pace. Keep the honesty coming because I truly do believe more honesty will help young girls overcome their insecurities, their eating disorders, their self hatred for themselves, and it might just save a few lives. I don’t usually post too much on social platforms, but I felt like I needed to. There just might be some young girl struggling like we all are or were at some point in our lives. If you are struggling know that it does to get better, it just takes a little extra work in acknowledging your emotions. Acknowledge what you’re feeling because in the acknowledgment of what you’re feeling you will find your strength. You will also find that you WON’T stay in that position forever. It just takes a little work, and little faith in yourself and you’ll get there. 🤍🤍

Please eat a big spoon of omega 3 oil for your brain and nerves every day. Flax seed oil contains omega 3 as well as salmon. The oil prevents you from getting depression. Girl your story is the saying “The kindest eyes have cried the most tears, and the happiest souls have felt the most pain”. It’s so inspirational to me how you have come out of your eating disorder and have learned to love yourself the way everyone should learn to love themselves, along with just being the most joyful, and positive person on the internet that I know of right now. Obviously I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, but I do know that we need more people like your fantastic self on the internet. So I just really appreciate you being honest and open about your past even though it’s really hard to do. It just speaks millions about your character and just shows people that there is more to you than meets the eye even despite you being the most bubbly person on KZfaq. Just keep being you, love ya sis, and thank you so much!!!

I’m still a kid but I think this is so important. Watching this video has really made me rethink how I handle my body. Made me think of how truly important self love is. Just realizing now I always put any thoughts about my body off to the side. Not acknowledging it, not completely hating it but not loving it either. And now during quarantine I’ve had time to think about myself and who I wanna be and I just want to believe in myself and have confidence. And Amber watching you slay and be a Queen 👑 has pushed me to love myself more. Your amazing😍 I cherish everything you say because your such a beautiful person😘🥺❤️ You are someone who will always inspire me to be my best self and I thank you for that🙏❤️

What I love the most about Amber is that she looks like the typically mean plastic fake girl but when you click on her videos you instantly forget about that and realize how precious and beautiful of a human being she is and you can’t help but love her. It may sound exaggerated but she is one of my role models, she likes to be and feel pretty as she wants unapologetically and that doesn’t mean she’s not kind and humble, I just love her.

@@iamdestlol Nooooo I swear that wasn’t my intention at all! I just said what my first and very wrong impression was and how it drastically changed! Sadly we are full of stereotypes and that’s how I saw her, then her kindness slapped me in the face real hard, that’s a lesson for me. She’s as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.

she definitely makes me think twice when judging girls who ‘look’ like her. most of the time you’d think they’re stuck up and better than you attitude. but watching her videos and knowing how down to earth and chill she actually is makes me realize looks don’t determine personality.

I feel like this goes without saying, dont comment on peoples bodies. Dont tell someone if they gained weight or lost weight or how skinny or fat they are. Bodys arent meant to look a certain way, so dont insert your opinion on them to anyone.

and to add on- it doesn’t matter if your comment on a person’s looks isn’t meant to be rude or triggering. impact > intent. if you accidentally kill someone in a car accident, you still killed them even if you didn’t mean to. compliment someone on literally anything besides their looks

Thw only way that i feel is acceptable to comment on someone's body is when they are really unhealthy. Not in a critique way , but a more concerned tone. I have 2 friend who had e.d . One was anorexic and the other one was eating her emotion. If that's the case , then i think it's good to give them oustide perspective when they don't see what they're doing. But bitching someone just for the sake of it? Nah

The weird and sad thing about eating disorders is just that they "randomly" come but never ever go away. No matter how hard you try..no matter how much weight you have lost or gained depending on your goals. You speaked out of my soul❤️I have tried to gain weight for yeaaarrs amd yeaaars and yeaars now. Still living in a skinny body since forever and let's just say..people are mean. I never really felt like a "real" woman cause I didn't have boobs, or a womanly figure. But I feel better now..thanks to the people who love me and care about me and also thanks to you Amber❤️you are one of those who make me feel special even tho we don't know eachother❤️
