Why would you know Kate, she was not an ‘actress’. The point is, Meghan can not be considered a successful actress because of the simple fact that very few people knew her which means she was never in blockbuster movies or tv shows. I even have a friend who did watch Suits but never knew who she was, meaning, her character is so insignificant, she didn’t even bother to check the real life name of that character. I only started watching suits this year. And I ignored most of the news, with M and H...until the whole Netflix docuseries and "Waaaagggh", (that South Park parody was so on point), which is when I went back to see briefly what had been going on. As for the show itself...I think it's one of the best TV shows I have seen. The plot lines, themes, characters and actors who portrayed them, and their arcs, (especially Patrick as Mike, Gabriel as Harvey, Rick as Louis, Sarah as Donna and Gina as Jessica), were outstanding in their roles. Yet nothing could have been accomplished if it wasn't for the writers. The balance of seriousness and comedy, the way the characters (and thus also the cast), bounced off each other with the funny, quirky quips, and the music-both as a motif, and soundtrack...ignited and transformed what could have been just another procedural, (Medical, Crime, Government conspiracy/ espionage etc), into a really great show IMHO. If anyone HASN'T seen it, I would recommend it. As for "M", she wasn't actually bad as Rachel Zane, but the character got a little too Little Miss Goody 2 shoes for me. And I'm still unsure which persona is the character or the actor. I think the Rachel in the show, was quite similar to the Rachel who married Prince H. Useless fact, but her first name is actually Rachel irl, with Meghan being her middle name. But the person I watched in the "documentary", and appears to be cold, calculated, and cunning...appears to be the real person IMHO.

@ Judy, What makes you think the show was cancelled? Most tv shows, make an actor sign up for seven seasons- some get cancelled after a couple of years, some get lucky and stay alive for another 3-4 years. Suits ran for 9 years-2 of which were without Patrick and M. I think that makes it a success, by industry standards at the very least.

I loved the show and her character, however I stopped watching after 2 seasons. Apparently the show had high ratings, but no one in my circle watched the show. The show got boring for me after 2 seasons.

Had she been on a show like Game Of Thrones of that world wide recognition or blockbuster movies then you could argue that yeah she would be known prior to dating Prince Harry. She wasn't. No one is saying she wasn't an actress just not a famous one. Clint Howard has been acting for over 50 years. Some folks know who he is others might recognize his face. Actually it was the number one show on the USA network. I'd never heard of her but my sister watched the show and really liked it. I've been binge watching it out of curiosity. I actually really like it! Her role is really small in the beginning but it does grow. Not the range of acting though. The rest of the roles and actors are really good! So I think they made her seem better. I personally think if she wasn't so obviously self conscious about being perfectly "beautiful" in every shot, she would have been a better actress. In so saying, I think if she had just let herself relax and maybe become a character actress, she may have done better. She's just so stiff...... Anyway, the series streams for free on Peacock now. I do recommend it. Some very cute guys on it..... 😊

LL45 I agree with you. Yes, she's caring especially for homeless in L.A. She helped feed them at Soup kitchen in L. A. when she was a young girl of 12. She managed to help them after school. She was also a volunteer for homeless animals in CA and was also a rescue volunteer in Canada for abused dogs. In fact she adopted two dogs she rescued named Gus and Bogart. Took Bogart to the UK to live with them at Frogmore Cottage, and left Gus to a friend to care for him. But I think both dogs are now living with them in California. Hope so.
