Danny. I’ve grown up in Geelong my whole life. I know some people who know you closely, some who have worked for you, and I’ve seen you around. Online trolls will be online trolls for anything on the internet. They do not know you. Being sensitive myself, I understand how easy it is to fixate on the small negative comments. But I wanted to encourage you to focus on the positive comments, which I would assume is 99.97%. I have been very touched by your focus on men’s mental health, and have also tried to put more of a spotlight on it with friends and family as I have not long since been on medication. Attending your ride last year really made me emotional how many blokes can get together for this cause, but also how hard some people are doing it. I believe your channel is bigger than yourself, and you need to continue doing what you’re doing to spread this message, but also just to provide entertainment and a sense of brotherhood. I know many conversations when mentioning your channel, it opens up a whole other conversation and connection with people of similar interest. I will be praying for your situations at present, and wish you all the best!

Hello Daniel, Nigel here from New Zealand. I happened upon your YT channel during the dark days of lockdowns (it was your Alaskan trip with Parry) and as a fellow HD rider I have watched every minute of each and every one your vlogs and during life’s various challenges we face, your vlogs always take me to a better place - so thank you for that. Haters will always hate and trollers will always troll - sadly that’s human nature, I just hope they’re happy in their skin as they are really just missing out on life. Look forward to your endeavours in 2024! (PS: My wife and I did a big campervan trip in October from Melbourne ending up in Adelaide across the great ocean road and I was lucky enough to see Geelong HD after we stopped in Geelong and were heading to Lorne for our first night and it got me smiling thinking about all your escapades with Colin and the team).

Danny, I'm a man and should not admit that I tear up when I think you may abandon your mission to support good men, fathers and brothers. As men we struggle, it isn't easy to be a good man and be an example. But, you sir are an example. This pressure does cause us to question our worth. You are always supporting us and suggesting we should "never give up." Please don't give up. Your manly men following you need you. I know you don't need this channel, but, we need you. Your inspiration to never give up, your suggestion that we should be the best we can be and your suggestion that we should look to our friends to support us when we are weak. We all have moments of weakness and you are teaching us where to look for support in those moments of weakness. Please don't give up on us. Your adventures and videos are very aspiring.

I’m from the US and love your videos and have missed you and your group of friends, i.e. David Perry, Collin and his employees. There are a lot of miserable people in this world that want you to be as miserable as they are, “misery loves company”. I just wanted to remind you of your two rules of motorcycle riding. Rule one “don’t die, rule two don’t quit. Keep the faith. Good luck with your ride.

I’m a fifty-five year old man that has days where I crave peace so bad I contemplate many things. Keep moving forward, breath in breath out. Get knocked down, get back up and keep moving forward. Nope, not dealing with anything you are right now and it easy for someone to say such things when they’re not immersed to the knees in shit, but I’ve dealt with my own shit and there were times that I felt like giving up, but one thing I was taught was that moment is when you stand back up and keep moving forward. Hey Danny. Aside from the many hours of superb entertainment you have provided to all of us that loyally follow you, you come across as a very genuine and decent human being. F*** all the haters. I know it’s hard to do sometimes because we are human and words can and do hurt but you need to remember that thousands of your followers appreciate and enjoy what you do, and that is what matters. Depression runs in my family so I completely understand the daily battle that people face every day. Hope whatever struggles you are going through right now pass, and pass quickly. God bless you sir.

Danny, we met in Sturgis and it was the highlight of my trip! You have inspired me many times as I've watched your vlogs late at night in a depressed state. After watching your vlog I felt uplifted. . . I laughed and felt so much better. Your reach has been global and that is a miracle in itself. Keep your head up there are brighter days ahead! Thank you for all that you do and for the many hours you have laboured to edit videos to make our lives better.

Danny I’m a loner and I only got a friend in the UK while living in the Netherlands myself. Since I found your channel years ago I began to feel a connection with you, I even dare to say, for me you became a friend. I had conversations with you on long trips in my mind and it helped me in tough times. Please, as hard as it may be for you, keep that in mind as I’m sure I’m not the only one and fuck the haters with their negativity. I’m sad for how you feel lately but I’m also happy that you announced you’re coming back when you’re ready again. I will be waiting Danny.

Stay strong Danny. You do a great job in raising awareness of this stuff - I’ve been through some tough times and it’s only recently that there’s been a wider acceptance that men can crumble sometimes. Take care mate and be kind to yourself. Riding therapy works so get out there 👍
