I just started too, I have SO much inventory though and havent had a second to list but like 8 things yet. 😆 I have soooo many new beauty and skincare products, NWT Free People, NWT Victoria's Secret, NWT Agent Provocateur, NWT Honey Birdette, NWT Daydreamer, and a bunch of good thrift finds (some I got free like a NWT Louis Vuitton scarf). My problem is I have so many things going on at one time making money. After watching your success, I am definitely focusing on listing a certain amount a day/week now. ❤

What a great first month. I find it hard to figure out what always sells fast other than the designer items I come across. Last week I found a Dior dress that Value Village missed pricing up. I usually find at least one really good item every month but would like to find more. Good luck.

Maybe some larger size items would make sales a little quicker. Most people are not the sizes you have listed. Try it and see what happens, can't hurt!

My goal is 90% sell through rate in 90 days. Right now I'm 60-70% so I'm getting there. Learning every day!

48 items within 30 days is SO GOOD, especially for the first month of doing this and part time!!! congrats :) we're too hard on ourselves lol

awesome job guys! not gonna lie, I would suggest making your own closets because it will be hard to make money having to split it 2 ways. you guys can still do all of the work together but I would suggest separate. totally recommend selling mens too. i've found men are more likely to just go in and buy something fast where women will like it & wait, add it to a bundle & not buy, ask questions & not buy, etc. you don't really get that on the mens side which is nice. welcome to reselling :) subscribed!

Hi! Thank you for your comment. It all would even out to about the same with two closets vs one if we are still both sharing the work load. We are just able to list and source more items with both of our time. Thanks for watching :D

@@TraveledTXstyles yeah I guess I didn't explain well... the reasoning I said so is because you won't need to list items for so high and can give people good deals. because I've found that's the best way is finding ur bread & butter brands that you sell a lot of on the daily (this way you can cut people deals) ... as well as some nicer pieces for higher values stacked on top. this is how I operate and do $100+ in sales per day. my bread & butters are FP, madewell, coach, patagonia, vintage, dr. martens, levi's, etc. either way definitely do what works best for yall :)

Hi, we don’t have to list items high now. Either way we would be making the same amount since we are both two people splitting the work. It wouldn’t make a difference if we had our own closets.

Congratulations on a great first month!! I am just starting out. How do you know when stores are having a sale for the best deals. Do they send out emails or have websites to know about sales? What stores are your favorite?

Yes being on their mailing lists help a ton. Some have Apps, like Thrift Giant, and others have rewards programs. My personal favorite is Thrift Giant, but I also enjoy going to smaller locally owned thrift stores to support their causes. -Serena

Congrats on the selling. Any problems with the Poshmark platform when selling? I have a friend that had some scammers on the site, horrible experience so she is staying with Ebay. I guess it will be slower sales since she is not on multiple selling platforms. Love your content, as a former Texan nice to meet you both!

And, you’re so right with wanting to sell things fast! I try to stick to a few months of things being listed before trying to heavily discount it. 🫶🏻
