In today's video, I delve into Swayle's misdeeds and his overall conduct. From profiting off mediocre horror mods with recycled AI to outright content theft, we're diving into some weighty topics. no clue about (or know about) lunar, but with Trevor his works are literally copyrighted in his name and he can take that down, and the licence SCP is under forces you to credit, its just that due to all of the SCPS being...well "SCP" it counts the community hates content farms milking the SCP foundation but they can't do shit about it because its fully within the free licence the entire project is under

If you'd like some recommendations, here's a couple: The Librarian is the classic, really inspiring all of this alongside the creator of the cave dweller. I highly recommend him if you want something more casual, but still creative and engaging. He really has a way of describing and looking at things that is like no one else, and I love his content for that very reason. If you'd like to try something more avant-garde, then I highly, HIGHLY recommend Zeemyth's content. His level of creativity, effort, and uniqueness while featuring kind of horror that no other Minecraft KZfaqr i've seen has matched is simply amazing. His bedrock.jar videos are probably his highest quality videos, so I'd start with those.

You forgot to mention that in his discord server, he had a gofundme for someone who was making the mods (for Swalye) because their PC broke. My personal experience with said modder honestly sucked. I contacted him about using his mod (The Nightmare Dweller thing), and he said that I could get early access to the mod if I donated to the gofundme, so I donated and he then told me that the mod for early access people would come out in a week. So I wait the week whilst asking questions about the mod. He barely responded to the messages and eventually, after asking the same thing multiple times I would get a response it was a simple yes or no half the time. The week for the early access people to get the mod comes around and then Swalye makes a post on the Discord server saying that it's open for EVERYONE. I unsurprisingly was kinda pissed off. So I contacted the Modder and he said that he had no control over Swalye when he posted it. Even though he was the one making the mod? And then went on a rant about how he wasn't able to answer my question cause he was "super busy" even though they where mostly a week apart. I've been seeing him in a Discord call playing Hallow Knight, when I pressed him about that he stated that I was lucky to be even talking to him and that the laptop he was talking to me on was barely functional. Honestly Swayle and his gang could be scammers as well, if not they are very very sketchy people.

We never want to put mods behind a pay wall. That happened after a guy named Galaxy was kicked from the friend group for being 16 turning 17 dating a 12 or 13 year old. He put the mods to be bought. We always wanted to make them free.

So a funny thing about swayle’s wendigo: if we’re going to be as accurate as possible (iirc), then his wendigo is so far removed from how they actually appear as that the deer-skulled version’s more accurate, since wendigos (again, iirc) were depicted more as cannibalistic, lanky humans with great strength (this is a massive simplification since I’m going off of memory). Though granted I do like both the accurate and deer-headed versions. Still doesn’t help his dwellers are literally just… yikes. I feel like horror mods can work, but these dwellers are very hit or miss (spider moth, friggin spider moth is a better dweller than half of them by virtue of not being the lanky man). It’s almost like the next bot craze.

There's a few different legends across Native American nations from the American Northwest and Canada who speak Algonquin (a language group that covers several groups), but large and humanoid are consistent. It seems like the idea of them having deer skulls (or goat skulls) comes from Stephen King's book Pet Semetary. The origin of wendigos is really interesting too. Some legends say they cause cannibalism, while others say they are caused BY cannibalism. They generally seem to be allegories for greed and careless destruction, since even though they are gluttonous they are always emaciated. Super interesting stuff!

@@FlowersOfIcetor I actually find most Native American myths (like the wendigo and the thunderbird) to be real interesting to me, though i didn’t know pet cemetery was the one to spawn the (admittedly cool looking) deer-head wendigo. Funny enough for the longest time I thought the deer-head was what it was supposed to be until a couple years ago.

@@FlowersOfIcetor I think the deer skull thing comes from another myth too, one that I'm not going to actually name because you're not supposed to open that portal for them. They're creatures that come from Native Americans and traveled to México, creating lots of variants and different stories, but the basic description is something that may look like an animal (typically a deer) but has something that looks wrong, maybe it's standing upright on legs that bend in weird ways or it has weirdly human eyes but there's always something that gives them away. For some reason they were super popular on TikTok some years ago and it blended the myths together to create that amalgamation.

This whole thing is a mess… This video would’ve never happened if Swayle didn’t become obsessed over the grind and made actual videos that weren’t just ctrl+Ps of the dweller mod with a different model and skin (and if you’re lucky, maybe the stats will be slightly different!!!!) but quality content. I watch people actively die, I clean the elderly and sick when they cannot do so themselves, I’ve been sexually preyed upon at work by people I’m supposed to be providing care for (who are entirely alert and oriented sometimes) I do all of this happily and hear only shit from my management because they want as much as possible from their workers for as little pay as possible. Their behaviour regarding people stealing their "creations" reminds me a lot of the petty DMCA trolling by the Scape and Run: Parasites. They have an entire Discord server dedicated to sending DMCAs or mass-report Bedrock add-ons that they deem "too similar" to SRP. Will you ever make a video of this, because I am surprised that nobody has called out this awful behaviour yet.

WOW I did not know the Swayle shit went this deep. So glad I unsubbed after Calvin's call out post.. I had an ick after the drama with Kihec (which they resolved so I resubbed). The thing that upsets me the most is someone like Swayle gets so many subs and views, but someone like Kihec (literally deemed the goat by Calvin) gets so little and has original/fun content. I'm sure theres plenty of other small creators too that deserve the fame unlike Swayle.

I was complaining the other day to my partner that he (Swayle) doesn’t really “do anything” in his videos, and the monster chasing him at the end isn’t always shown. Chapter 4 really got me kinda mad, I'm out of the HighSchool age but the part where Flame said "he was born like that" really twisted my skin for some reason. I was born autistic, that doesn't mean you should excuse any rude behavior from me just because I'm autistic, if I do something not ok then I'm going to get flamed for it, he's no exception. This is what I thought too. I watched 3 of his videos yesterday as it was recommended to me just yesterday. And now I see this. I play minecraft with horror mods in hardcore. Have seen a ton of good ones since MC 1.6.4, with some never being updated past v1.7.2... I honestly thought the mods swayle was showing were just being showcased and even downloaded a couple of the packs so I could find the fog override, and the other mods, on forge.

I do want to correct something; Swayle's Wendigo isn't an inaccurate design, because its about as accurate as the "accurate" Wendigo. The left Wendigo is merely the most common/popular interpretation, but the only parts you really need to get right for an "accurate" Wendigo is the large, dark, lanky frame, and the bones intigrated into said frame. Hell, by some tellings of the stiry, the bloody visera of a fresh kill might be *more* accurate to the intent of the original myth, mirroring the violence they inflicted in their greed, if you can even gage the accuracy of a design of a shapeshifter. Now, does that mean Swayle actually did intend on making a Wendigo design that was both different *and* still somewhat accurate to folklore? Fuck no, he kept the antlers, thats blatant proof it's just a rip-off, those are almost exclusively a modern design trope for wendigos. But I did just wanna bring that up because people acting like there's a set-in-stone Wendigo design, when the cited design was *specifically* designed to reclaim the Wendigo from just being a generic Yeti variant and explore a monster that previously had all its unique qualities stripped away by colonizers... Well, that's just a bit annoying, and a bit funny, considering that a rejection of *that* attitude is the *very* reason the popular design exists in the first place. And, like. That design is *sick as hell,* so much so it basically single-handedly rescued the Wendigo from the trough of settler-enforced mediocrity and kickstarted other reclaiming efforts for other trampled mythology's beasts and monsters. Just. You can see the irony, right?

Tbh as someone ur age im also more responsible than him. I work a 8-4 job over the summer then get back to school after and it’s not a fast food it literally exhausts you no matter how fit you are. Just by the way Swayle acts makes me ashamed I supported him. But I do believe Puff is a genuinely good guy with bad friends. Also here in open arms for anybody who needs a friend.

I had at first watched Vivilly, then Calvin, and got confused between Swayle and Calvin cuz of the similar pfps, I didn't assume anything really, just seemed weird but ignored it Edit: Also, as a 17-year-old- Politely, what the fuck??
